09/01/2067 | The Fall

The scent of fall season has arrived, many are excited to return back to school but I am not...

I have always been the target of the bullies in high school but it hasn't bother me as much as they are the most vulnerable people. As i was getting beat up as per usual, a bright light enveloped the sky, shining through my closed eyes.

"Ugh.... my eyes.... what happened?"

As I opened my eyes, the other students stunned, a big door has appeared in front of me. It let out a horrible stench and screams can be heard within the door.

As the bullies approach the door with curiosity and confusion, the door suddenly opens and let out countless monsters as seen in fantasy book and myths. The surrounding students including these bullies whom made my highschool life hellish has met the blade of some "undead" or zombie like creature.

I ran away as fast as I could, helping a fellow female student and follow the yelling of my gym teacher yelling everyone to go in the gym. All students has barricaded the door with everything that could be pushed on the door.

"That should hold out for a while..."

As the gym teacher said while explaining everything. Everyone has sat down on the ground to catch their breath.

{What... what was that?...}

I questioned on what just happened as everything happened so fast while I heavily breath in air. Everyone was on their phone watching the "Korean News" and it seems that these so called "Dungeons" have appeared all throughout the world and that certain people have received powers.

"Thanks you for the help."

The female groaned in pain of her swollen ankle.

"I only did what I can do at the moment."

I looked at her swollen ankle and asked the teacher for help. As I helped bandaging her cuts and setting up the splint and I wondered about my family. Within my deep thoughts, the female student asked

"My name is Kim Hyo-Sonn, 3rd year student, 18 years old, What's your name?"

She asked with excitement.

"My name is Cho Kang-Dae, 3rd year student, 18 years old."

An awkward silence filled the air when the door was suddenly broken and monsters have started flooding in the gymnasium. I carried her as quick as I can, on my back, and ran as fast as I can. When the emergency exit was opened, the monsters have quickly gained its distance towards the both of us when I heard a voice in my head...

"My liege... remember what we have been through..."

The mysterious female voice gave me a headache as memories of some King appearing, I stumbled, hitting the ground along with Kim Hyo-Sonn. She yells...

"Cho-ssi!!!!"

It is when some HUD that you often see in video games appeared with the words-

I crawled towards a box cutter that was beside me, as a goblin stabs my calf, a surge of pain went through but I had to endure since I have to survive within the unknown phenomena. I quickly slashed the neck of the goblin with a nice clean cut as it felt natural. As I caught my breath I informed Kim Hyo-Sonn that I was fine and cut of the hilt of the dagger. We continued walking limping, going as fast as we could until we enter some sort of safe zone that appear simultaneously all through Seoul and everywhere in the world. There was 3 male students, one with red hair and earrings, another one that seems to be the bread shuttle, and a really strong bodybuilder. They were all going crazy and saying..

"I don't wanna die... I wanna see my family..."

We sympathized with them as my wound has completely healed as if it was nothing. We were to not leave the area until the capacity and the time limit were to be filled and run out. I passed out from exhaustion until night time, which a notice appeared and a door appeared saying..

[One sacrifice is needed to clear this dungeon before a catalyst break happens]

The 3 unknown men looked at me as some burdn and dragged me towards the door while Kim Hyo-Sonn screamed at them to let go of me but it was futile... they were too strong... while i tried to struggle they only saw me as a pawn for their own survival. I tried to use my skill but my stamina was drained and I had no way of fighting back. I will remember their faces and will come back no matter what it takes. I will no longer stand being weak and let the whole world know me as the....
