Right now I was butchering some more Wind wolves, while throwing a rock into the Wolf mount's ass or snout every time it tried to run, how did I do that? Curve shots!
"Tr ytik varta (My finger, sharp)" I said in that ancient language, as I started to cut at a bone, instead of carefully butchering the corpses with my hands. I made large cuts at it, slowly creating a sword's blade form.
Then a big flat stone surface, that I cut with my finger too "Ytik titir (Finger, stop)" I then sharpened the blade. And yes, the blade had a cilinder on the bottom to put in the grip.
I took another bone and made a grip part after making my finger sharp again, not a guard though, since that would just get in the way with the quality of this creation, and I don't want to waste more time.
I made an indent to both the grip and blade of the same size, then took out two stones/gemstones from the corpses of two Wind wolves, they were called magic stones. These I cut to fit the indents "Yrujk burnijsew(Stick permanently)" I put them in with the spell, these two were both now artifacts, but I didn't look at it, and put the two together with the same spell once more.
[Created; Pure-Wind wolf-bone swor-]
Then I rapped Wind wolf hide(Without the fur) around the handle and sticked it too.
[Created; Pure-Wind wolf sword]
['Pure-Wind wolf hide', gained ability; ...]
There were a lot of abilities, I'll just show you the item's abilities, with it's name.
[Lykos Aeras;
Wolf heart; Increase blood circulation, increasing muscle strength, increasing speed overall by 5%
Wolf's claw; Wounds have a higher chance at the effect 'Hemmorage'
Wind claw; every 8 seconds, a charge is created, everytime you slash a charge is used up as a blade of wind comes out of the slash. (Max of 5 charges)]
How does a sword increase blood circulation? Magic is a convenient term.
How did I know It is a thing that I would obviously take interest in? A mix of luck and an understanding of every material in the Wind wolf and their effects when creating artifacts.
The blood circulation comes from the hide, though the removal of the fur made it slightly less efficient, I'm not going to have a good grip if there's fur.
The wind claw comes from the magical stones. how did they both make the same effect when they're a part of different forms? Just how did I manipulate that? If you just cut the magical stones correctly they make different effects, that form I cut is the most effecient for wind claw, which is exclusive to the sword, dagger, and such items.
Then I made three rings from the leftovers to make rings, there weren't any other magic stones left.
[Ring of a wolf's hate
Eternal winds; Disadvantages caused by wind are decreased by 5%.]
[Wind theia charis;
Wind affinity; Increased wind damage (+10)]
[Archikós of lykos;
Initial wolf-claw; The first close-range attack has an increased speed of 5%]
That was enough for me, 10 Wind wolves down, lvl 2, and time to go hunt down a D-rank slime varient! I should get it quickly, fun fact, slimes are pretty common, in places with a lot of food.
If I remember correctly there was a problem with Child slimes, they're born from a 'Mother slime' which is D-rank. Normal slimes are E-rank, Child slimes are F-rank.
If I go to the plains north of the city, there should be a lot of slimes, and my D-rank mother slime.
I was happy with the money that I had made so far, and I was mostly going for the artifacts anyways.
And I would get that money from previously too, and as such I left on my mount.
After an hour I arrived on the plains, nobody questioned the Wind wolf, tamers weren't rare. Everybody just thought that this semi-big shot arrived from the city to help with some noble's kid.
I ran past all the Child slimes and normal slimes, on the wolf.
I quickly found a bigger slime in the horizon, which was the Mother slime.
Because I was lazy, and there was no one around. I took out my sword and did an ancient technique, 'sword draw'. Not really a technique, just me using my swordmanship to slice a lot. In a short amount of time, which created wind blades that every time got a critical hit on the core within it.
Now, all I needed to do was pick up the magic core, cut it correctly, and put under the hide straps of the handle.
[Claw Rebound;
You can toggle the ability of 'Wind claw' bouncing off of the first thing it hits.]
Then I took out the blade from the grip, and put on Mother slime 'Slime' and then put it back in.
[Acidic claw;
'Wind claw' gains an acidic effect, gaining a +5 attack of acid damage. Toggleable.]
The 'Acidic claw' is just a perk I picked up on the way, 'Claw rebound' is where the magic is at. You see, when you have skill, or talent of any level. You start concentrating your attacks on a single wound to get the 'Savage wound' or 'Debilitating injury' effect, hopefully the latter, but most often the former.
The more wounded a place the more damage, and chance at dismemberment. But what if that monster your hitting turns? Well, rebound that wind claw so that it can't avoid your evil power.
I took out my card, and saw that I had killed 10 Wind wolves, and 1 Mother slime. I honestly don't like these cards, they have a recording function to your stats and such things, but that only happens if you show it to it, me getting 'Smouldering fang of madness' is public though, all the notifications are public to it.
The only reason I'm not making sure it doesn't see shit is because I can tamper with the information it shows when it is checked by the guild, and I'm not high enough rank for them to give one with the 'Remote information gathering function'. Those only appear at B-rank, since they're really expensive.
Since there was no skill for this, I circulated my mana to get it all losened up, and then I carefully and slowly changed some of the information on it, mostly my level, stats, hp, max hp, skills, skill trees, and equipment.
Making it all a little more 'Trashy', class? Super-trash too.
I had my fun, and while that was happening, the smouldering fang of madness guy was getting interrogated "Why did you instantly run away from the party the moment you got the chance!? And even gave away the skill we gave you! Why didn't you use it?!"
Normal people would feel shame right about now, but the guy had watched and learned from 'Communicating with npc's, dealing with their unreasonable standards of morality, and their shame mongering.'
Communication; An npc, just talk to them, just remember that they shouldn't have rights. They aren't at our level. An npc is an inferior being with little knowledge, wisdom and intelligence.
Unreasonable standards; Npc's have a standard of morality which just doesn't fit us villains, we're evil! You think being evil is just looking in on a womans bathing space or something?! No, someone evil wouldn't take interest in such things unless they had an ability which needed their lives, no one is one edge while bathing, normally. What you need to do is beat it into their heads constantly.
Shame mongering; You do something shamefull, but smart. An npc starts shame mongering you, what do you do? First, never take a posistion that shows regret or fear, it shows weakness, npc's sensing weakness in such aspects are like starving wolves, especially women that think they saw you in birthday suit.
Second, never apologize, except when extremely obvious you're disingenious or sarcastic, they're dumb and won't see through sarcasm of a higher level, at the level of a todler.
Third, if you can't be shameless like a true 'Normie' or higher, then use anger to throw out the shame. Shame is just taking up space, anger is theraputic, shame is traumatic.
Fourth, important, don't let them ever dominate you with pure power, use force to make them learn if possible, and make sure to never get hit, because giving someone an inch to show how open you are to working it out, and they'll it that you are guilty and will decide the punishment without even listening to your story.
Remember, give an inch, they take a mile. Never give an inch, and take every mile you can for yourself.
These words reverberated, he made sure to be confident, he felt shame, but then he got angry he could feel shame for a smart desicion "Shut up fools, you understand jack shit! You think you know the world?! Well, I'll have to pull the rug from under you, there's someone better to follow, and I choose them."
"How dare you," The woman wishing to be a parasite said "What's better about him then us that you join someone that doesn't even care if you live or die?!"
"Ahem, he'll care the moment I become a 'Loser'."
"That's not the point!"
"It's just better for my future, ok?!"
"Do you really believe he would just make you stronger because you gave him some skill?!"
"Yes, I'm going to join his party, and he will do his best to, in his free time, make me make the right choices."
"Why are you so confident in him?!"
"The thing is, he recognized the 'Smouldering fang of madness', which is only recognized as 'good' by 'Gamers' and above, and valued enough for me to let me join his party by 'Experts', which are people who have gone to lvl 100 hundreds of times minimally, all in only a few months."
"...What? Hundreds of times?"
The man smiled 'There's the inch, now bring about the anger, and take every mile.'
"Yes, yes, yes you fool. If you haven't realized, that guy, is only lvl 1. If you haven't realized, that guy only has two skills, and one skill tree. If you haven't realized, the method of taming Wind wolves would only last 10 days, in which you would have to feed it a magic stone of C-rank. Which means that he has the confidence that he'll get something better or get a C-rank magic stone!"
"Do you not see these things you fools, yes he may say that arthea's classes are high trash, but he thinks the item blessings are some of the best! He did say that sword saints are trash, but that's the truth! What do you think makes a sword saint good in the first place?!"
"You get all the swordmanship knowledge automatically..."
"Yea, shoddy, half-baked swordmanship knowledge, which is easily overpowered with a few months of hard work! To have the entire perk of your class replaced by a month or two of actually trying! Do you think that's good?! Is your brain made of fucking slime?! Are you a troll in disguise?!"
"N-no..."
"Yea, you aren't, you're just a stupid npc without knowledge, wisdom or intelligence! You know nothing! You're litterally just D-rank! Close to C-rank, but don't think that's impressive! Fun fact, there's this thing called B-rank, and even A-rank! I was SS-rank once! You think, you, with your little D-rank mind could compare to me?!"
"You, you," The sword saint wannebe tried to take the advantage again "SS-rank? Why didn't you go all the way to SSS-rank?"
"Because I was bored."
"Ha! And you speak a big game about being SS-rank while getting bored?!"
"Yea, when you can no longer go further, you get bored."
"No longer go further?.."
"To be honest, I could go further, but... I didn't want to work for centuries to get some combination of ancient, obscure artifacts to slay an SSS-rank. And there, I couldn't get some bloodline to get enough lifespan for that, as an SS-rank."
"I don't understand? So could you explain it like a normal person?!"
"Fun fact, it's impossible to get to SSS-rank as a Sword saint without being litterally perfect! Filled with infinite luck! And have the stars to align on the 7th day of saturn of doom the moment, the moment you pick up a random rock from the ground, which is an ancient artifact for god-slaying!!!!"
"What?? You can't go beyond SS-rank as Sword saint?! That's impossible!"
"It's true! Because I was a sword saint! And I personally realized that it was trash while watching way High-trashes could do with an equivalent class! They were SSS-rank at their peak even when playing casually and doing gimmicks intead of trying their best!"
"What????"
"Now shut the fuck up and accept my great kindness of giving you the chance to join him too, as npc's, or do you want to eat my fist."
Suddenly, the adventurer's guild card vibrated, they all checked, the guy pretty much certain what it was "H-he already finished!"
"Doesn't that mean I won't get any money?! That's, that's... My experiments! That was the best D-rank quest we could find!"
The man looked at them all with disdain "Crying over chump change, such is the worry of the poor."
He choose to go back to the adventurer's guild, since that's were you meet after a split-up in the mmo mode.
