Carelessness

Having those dreams that you plead for and seeing it happen, makes one thinks, perhaps we have powers over our lives and those encounters with strangers, but still feels like we've known each other for a long time.

Nothing makes humans wonder why they exist if not curiosity and eager to know the philosophy of life and everything that surrounds us, such a beautiful way of thinking. I guess that's what makes us humans too.
Ada frowns her face, stretching her hands as she tries to adjust herself to the other side of the bed not trying to wake up yet, but still the music that is being played in the background not letting her enjoy this beautiful morning
As those curtains hasn't been pulled yet
All of a sudden the center of her fine eyebrows furrowed slightly.


"Jesus Christ, I swear to God if I get up from this bed you won't like it" said Ada. "

"Perhaps you should find something doing rather than staying in that bed all day ma'am" said Jenny.
Who was busy pulling those curtains already making ada moves her body to adjust herself

struggling to get up from the bed, now sitting, two of her feet's on the ground facing the person that woke her up with a vivid sight of her with both annoyance she then murmured "i need something or someone in other for me to get my mind of something's" while picking on her fingers

"Maybe you should go back to writing or find yourself a boyfriend who knows? You might find one of them entertaining" said Jenny, Ada's roomie,Ada smiled.
Not surprised by Jenny response that she even heard what she was murmuring about, a phone can be heard ringing as well as the music Jenny was playing, Ada picks up the phone to know who is calling, she smiles before picking it.

"Hello Juliet, what's up?"
There was a bit of silence from Ada, she could feel her eyes getting wetter as tears started to roll down her face, it was something she didn't expect, for a moment her world felt scattered like it was just empty.

"No! No! Ah ah naaa, I don't believe this!!!" Ada screams, Jenny turns with a shock to know what happened? she came close to her with an unknown expression, Ada dropped the phone putting her two palm hands on her forehead while those tears came screaming down from her eyes, she couldn't believe what she heard just now, it was something unbelievable and unreal, "she was so happy last night, we we we" she started stammering. "Jesus Christ!!" She screamed bitterly, "come on naa Jenny, what went wrong?
She never mentioned any thing to none of us yesterday night. fuck!!!"

Jenny who is still trying to process what Ada has been saying asked "did someone die ada?"

Ada turn to Jenny with a heavy heart, it was aching. Then she said.

"Jenny is Juliet, they said it was a suicide, that juliy is dead, God!, her mom just called, she was In tears"
Jenny was quiet, shocked, and couldn't move for a while, she felt paralyzed for a while, the first thing that moved was her eyes, followed by her mouth.
"I don't understand, which juily?" She was holding up the tears from coming down, she just couldn't understand what just happened, Juliet committed suicide? Whyyyy?

The three of them where together last night
What went wrong?, she was perfectly fine when they dropped her off last night at her parents house.

was there something she was hiding from them?

3 months later.
It has been months already since juily died, it wasn't as easy as it might've seemed for Jenny, Ada was still in a state of mind that no one could literally explain, her face was swollen like someone who has been engaged into a fight her eyes circle was black as hell.

all she could think about was juily, her mind was never really here, Jenny walks in with a towel and a bowel

"ada you should really get up from that bed it been 3 months!!! 3 fucking months, how long will you continue this? Making people around you suffer, juily will never appreciate you if you continue like this"

Jenny would never understand how close juily and her was
They literally grew up together, she was her sister, her best friend, someone she could never forget even for a long time

It was an impossible quest for herself even if she tried.
"Why is she talking?"
"What is wrong with everyone?"
"Why won't they feel my pain?"
"It hurts so bad"
"Why am I not crying?"
All these was going through ada's mind, she wonders
Should i really continue making myself miserable? Or should I move on? What's the essence of being alive while she's not here?

Will everything be okay?
Ada got up walking pass Jenny she said "I will be fine" with a faint smile.
Walking through the bathroom door she opens the door and closed it
Her feet felt numb she fell on her knees
"What am I doing?"
She got up.
6 minutes later
She was already done
Jenny was seen arranging her bed when she noticed her footsteps
She turn to ask
"What's your plan for today?"
Ada who was looking for something to wear answered "i will be be" she thought where am I going?
I don't know. She continued "perhaps I will go visit juily graveyard today"
"Hmm, alright then" said Jenny.


Sitting next to juily grave, she couldn't yet fantom her fingers on what went wrong in her live.

Minutes pass she was still sitting there
She felt something or someone touch her shoulder
She turns with a shock expression to see who it was
It was a young man standing there
He was tall about 6'4 feet, light skinned bet he always get people staring for a long time.
He said "can I?" He asked
Understanding what he meant she nodded
And turned back still starring at her friend's name on the grave stone.

"Was she a close friend" the man asked
She nodded again
"My name is Joshua, "josh for short"
He said.
"Ada" she answered.
