The next school day a tiny girl with smooth silver hair and brilliant purple eyes, walked around the school while carrying two bouquets of flowers, each of them with a dozen pieces. She didn't look in anyone eye while doing so, neither did she stayed inside the Clubs she delivered at long enough so anyone could catch her name.
It was a shame really because every girl and boy she come across were already interested just at the sight of her. And it was a blessing, for the first time, that a highschool is a mine of rumors stuck together.
But by the end of the day, everyone has an idea of who she was. It wasn't an accurate one of course but it was an idea.
'Shishijima Kana is the new President of the Gardening Club and she is single.'
----
At the same time, while Kana was delivering the flowers, Danuja was having a staring contest with Sasaki-sensei.
'' That's the job of the Gardening Club, Sora-san.'' he said crossing his arms while looking lazily up at her
'' And I'm telling you that we are not taking any more commissions till next year in January. Flowers don't grow by snapping my fingers.'' Danuja looked down at him and while she was amused that even if the man get up she would still be towering over him, Danuja didn't let it show and maintained a serious look
'' You did with the first two deliveries from what I heard.'' Sasaki-sensei, the fucking bastard, shrugged before sighing
'' They are just some fucking flowers. No one will die if they don't get their damned flower crowns for a couple of months.'' Danuja snapped already annoyed with the whole thing.
Just because the Club has some kind of budged from the weightlifting contest, Danuja will not spend it for getting flowers for every little Club that wanted to 'brighten their Club room'.
She didn't want to 'brighten' her wallet either. She already needed to buy flowers seeds, pots and whatnot or at last what Kana wanted, needed to work in the garden.
'' Have it your way then.'' Sasaki-sensei waved her off like the two of them didn't just bickered for half a hour over the subject and Danuja didn't fidget in her spot while knowing that Kana was delivering the flowers.
Alone.
'' Just keep it low. The last thing I need is to have the Student Council on my head for letting you actually take over the Club just to not have what they need.'' he rolled his eyes before adding '' They always make a fucking mess when things don't get their way.'' he rubbed his eyes before Danuja turned around already done with each other
'' Don't come back if you are not dying!'' he yelled after her
'' Don't call me if it's not a fucking funeral!'' Danuja yelled back before closing the door.
In some people eyes their relationship may look exaggerate or unprofessional for a student and professor to have but Danuja liked it better like that then having a meek teacher that simpered at the sight of her.
Sasaki-sensei was still a bastard though.

'' Danuja-san, what do you want for Christmas?'' Kana asked while the two of them were freezing their hands in the garden soil
A week passed since the whole debacle with the Weightlifting Club and the dozen flowers they delivered and Danuja was cursing flowers and anything that grow in the ground since then. Despite being familiar with the feeling of blood on her hands, with sweat and grim from the floor or the punching bag and even with dog hair sticking on her fingers, Danuja couldn't help but grimace every time she needed to stuck her hands in the ground and plant the flowers they brought.
'' Christmas?'' Danuja smirked amused looking shortly at a concentrated Kana. It was adorable, really, with a small stripe of dirt on her nose, loose body and a constant smile since she saw the seeds and little flower buds Danuja brough for the Club.
'' It's not even November Kana.''
'' There are just two days till then. Then fifty five days till Christmas.'' Kana said smiling brightly while covering the seeds with another layer of soil
For Danuja, Kana excitement for the main winter holiday was always strange to see. Not unfamiliar or unwelcomed but just...strange. When someone spends more time with an animal, no matter how smart and tall they are, that person forgets that holidays are that important.
For years and even before those empty years come, Danuja was never eager for Christmas or even New Year Eve.
It was just another day for her. One much louder than usual but still another day.
'' So?'' Kana said after a couple of moment of silence where they planted the finished seeds and flower buds before
'' Suppose I need a new collar for Dad over there.'' Danuja pointed in front of them were the dog giant was lazing around, tail moving gently when the two looked at him
'' But what do you want ?'' Kana asked again before Danuja tugged her gently on her feet and guided her inside where it was much warmer.
Their Club Room could use improvements but for now the little nest like sofa they had was enough.
Danuja didn't answer for some time, avoiding the subject like every time it come around. Since meeting Kana, gifts were always a rather avoidable subject. Before finding out where and how Kana lived, Danuja thought it was like this because Kana had more money than herself and Danuja was by appearance alone, poor.
But now, after she saw where the girl lived it was clear that both of them had too little to actually get a present. Danuja couldn't even risk a small woven bracelet for Kana, last she or Dad wouldn't get their meals or bills to date.
'' Something sparkly.'' Danuja said grinning at Kana before throwing herself on the sofa beside the silver head. The petite girl gasped excited before both of them begin, albeit a little hesitantly, to talk about gifts and things they would like to have.

On the first of November, Danuja did not arrive to school. Neither on the second. She was a little busy to not get knocked out at that time.
