After two hours Aurora was done cooking everything. She called a maid and asked her to call others. Then she went to her room. When she came back everyone was waiting for her in the dining table. She sat opposite of Charlie. But Charlie didn't look at her. Mrs. Zaffino noticed that.
" You guys should have started." Aurora said.
" How can we start without you? You have made all these for us." Mr. Bruno said.
" All these are smelling so good. I'm sure they will taste heavenly. Thanks you dear." Mr. Zaffino said.
" I hope you enjoy it." Aurora said.
They all started eating and praising Aurora. But Charlie continued eating silently.
" What happened Charlie? Is everything okay? Is the food bad?" Mr. Mariano asked.
Charlie looked at him being surprised. " No sir. It's delicious. I'm fine. Don't worry."
Mr. Mariano knew what was wrong. He heard everything. But didn't push him further. Aurora felt sad. Why the hell she always do that? How will she control her foul mouth from hurting Charlie?
" Is there anything you don't know Aurora?" Lucas asked. Everyone laughed hearing that.
" I don't think so." Harry said.
" She is an all rounder." Leo said.
" Without any doubt." Sofia said excitedly.
" You guys should learn something not just coaxing her." Mr. Rossi said looking at the heirs.
" No one can beat her dad. She is just on another level." Lucas said chuckling.
" No one is asking you to beat her brat. You should not even dream about that. Just learn few things like her." Mrs. Rossi said.
" It's not that. Cooking is something I have learnt when I was little. Mom has a diary where all her recipes are written. I have learnt from that." Aurora said.
" I can't even let my girl stay alone in kitchen for 5minutes. One time she almost burnt the whole kitchen while baking a cake." Mrs. Martin said glaring at Sofia. Leo and Antonia laughed out loudly. Sofia glared at them.
" You cat! Can you even boil water? And Antonia! You can't even measure spices properly. Every time you cook something either salt or other spices are extra or too less to even have any taste. How dare you laugh at me?" Sofia scowled.
Antonia became red in embarrassment. This girl can't stop her mouth, can she? She thought.
" I can cook not good like Aurora but not bad like you either for your information Disney girl." Leo said smirking. Everyone started laughing this time.
" You both are quite unique in case of nicknames." Mrs. Ricci said laughing. They became red realizing what have they done.
" Harry was once about to burn down our whole house while using the microwave. After that I have banned him from my kitchen." Mrs. Bruno said.
" Mom! That's embarrassing!" Harry said whining.
" What about Lucas aunty?" Antonia asked Mrs. Rossi.
Lucas smiled seeing Antonia's interest in him. " He is good in that criteria dear. He was quite interested in cooking from childhood. So he used to follow me around all the time to learn. Now he is daddys boy. Only interested in business." Mrs. Rossi said rolling her eyes.
" Don't say that mom. I love you both. But dad needs my help more right? You have always told me to help him when I grow up." Lucas said side hugging her mom.
" Yeah yeah. Don't sugarcoat your words now. You brats only love your dads more than us. Always taking their sides. Am I right?" Mrs. Rossi asked looking at other moms. They nodded together.
" Even Sofia supports her dad more. I thought she will take my side as she is a girl." Mrs. Martin said giving a side eye to Sofia. Sofia smiled sheepishly.
" There has to be a reason that they are the heirs of the same group. This is the reason. They are all daddy supporters." Mrs. Zaffino said laughing.
Antonia smiled hearing that. The heirs have a very sweet relation with their mom and dad. She wished she were that much lucky too. Her biological dad didn't even acknowledge her existence.
Lucas again noticed the emptiness in Antonia's eyes. But what could he do?
Aurora sadly smiled too. How good it would be to have a mom by her side right? She would surely take her moms side as she is totally her copy. It would be great if she could be able to grow up with her moms love. Her dad has given her everything but moms love is something she will crave for her whole life.
Mrs. Zaffino and Charlie both noticed the sad smile on Auroras face. Their heart squeezed seeing the girl like that.
" Charlie is on another level. He cant even on the gas oven." Mrs. Zaffino said.
Aurora looked at her and then Charlie. She said the same thing too in the kitchen. Everyone laughed again. They were enjoying the dishes when Auroras phone started ringing.
"Excuse me." Aurora said and got up to receive the call.
" Poor girl can't even have dinner peacefully." Mrs. Ricci said.
" Mr. Mariano you should not give her all the projects. She is exhausted totally." Mrs. Martin said.
" Do you think she will listen?" Mr. Mariano said sighing.
Aurora came back and sat down.
" Who is it?" Mr. Mariano asked.
" From Office. Their is a presentation that has to be given tomorrow."
" I'll do it. You can concentrate on main base. Now that I'm here, I'll handle office."
" How long do you think you are staying here"? Aurora asked raising her one brow. Everyone was eating and listening silently.
" What do you mean? Now I can't stay in my home?"
" Of course you can. But the war is ahead dad. You should not stay here for long. You can come back after everything is normal." Antonia said.
" So you are asking me to run away from a war?"
" Dad, don't argue. They will target you to summon me. I don't want that." Aurora said.
" So you are pointing me as your weakness?" Mr. Mariano said furrowing his brows.
Aurora kept looking at him. Her dad never talks like that. Why is he behaving like that? That even in front of guests?
