Two Months Later
Seated on the toilet seat of her bathroom, a tear rolled down Selena's cheek and then another and before she knew it, she was sobbing hysterically and although her sight was blinded by her tears she couldn't look away from the two lines on the pregnancy test strips she was holding.
For the past two weeks, she had been feeling somewhat unwell with a queasy feeling in her stomach and had naturally assumed she was coming down with something and would wait it out since she really didn't like to take medications unless it was a life or death sort of situation.
Tired of waiting it out, she had gone to a pharmacy to get some medication for nausea earlier that morning and while the pharmacist had been attending to her, she had advised her to get a pregnancy strip since her symptoms sounded like she was pregnant.
