We got to the house and Mom and Dad ran towards us but before they could come closer they stopped in their tracks.
" Where is my daughter?" Dad asked looking around and at the same time looking wearily at me, the wolf in the house.
" She is alright. She is right here." Rick said pointing at me.
I caught my breath waiting for their reaction. They looked at me.
" That wolf is her?" they asked
"Yes."
Silence.
"How?" mom asked
"We are not sure yet. Why don't we wash up and we all sit down and have a chat and process all of this?" Rick suggested. The exhaustion was catching up to us.
Rick led me upstairs to my room. When we got there he squatted in front of me to be on my level.
" I want you to listen closely." that perked my attention. " I want you to visualize yourself as the person you are and will yourself to become who you were before the shift. You will turn back to human," he explained.
