That early morning I went to Drew's house to tell him and Charlie of the pendant that I had managed to get my hands on. Reaching there, I called him to let him know that I had arrived. He let me in and I went straight to the point showing them the pendant.
"I got it," I said as I lifted the jade pendant in their faces.
Their eyes brightened and with grins on their faces, they sat me down.
"That is good. how did you do it? She didn't suspect anything, did she?" Charlie asked
"No, she didn't. I just asked to see it and she gave me willingly." I said
"Oh, then how are you still keeping it?" Drew asked
"Oh, I just asked if I could keep it and look at it. she gave it wholeheartedly." I explained
"Oh, make sense," Drew said as he laughed
They both laughed while I glared at them
"Look, I wasn't so happy about it either and it was irritating that she had to cling to them like that." I defended myself
