Chapter 65 - THE CITY

Being back in the city was nostalgic a wave of emotions hit me like a ton of bricks as we entered the city. we left the trees that usually surround our territories and now tall buildings were all I could see. Rick was driving the car and I had the pleasure of looking through the window. I could see people walking, a few people running with their dogs, stores I wanted to go to the shops that I could see were open, and there were also a few futuristic cars that I saw. I didn't realize that time must have passed by quickly since I left for such inventions to take play without my realization. I was quite shocked.

"You are acting as if you've never been in the city before," Rick said as he chuckled

I laughed sheepishly. "Of course, I've been here before. I've practically lived here!"

"If you say so," he said
