Going and making the visitations was a part of trying to win the people's favor and to make myself known to the people. Did the people not know me? of course, they did! But just like any other politician in the country under normal circumstances, they need to make themselves known to the people and reassure them. this is my case right now. there is nothing wrong with it but perhaps I should say we are taking the next mile?
I went ahead to go sleep. Rick didn't get home even by the time I finished my movie and that was around eleven at night. I trusted that he was alright since I didn't sense anything unusual. the following day I woke up with him by my side. I turned to face him which woke him up. he stirred in his sleep and then embraced me. I got uncomfortable and tried to free myself from the heat of his body. before I could free myself, he spoke.
"I'm sorry I came home late," he said
I looked at him. he slowly opened his eyes.
