I woke up to the alarm clock. The sun was coming out spreading a golden shimmer across the room through the partly closed curtains. Some of the rays hit my face but they were not to strong so I didn't mind. It was kind of refreshing actually. I got up from the bed, leaving my mate who was still asleep. I don't how he does it but the fact that we have pretty sharp hearing but he can actually sleep through alarms is crazy. I'm starting to think that he ignores them. I stretch myself then went to brush my teeth. I came back to the room to check on him. I found him still asleep. I walk to him shaking him.
" Rick, wake up. We have school. We gotta go. We don't have much time." I told him
