Chereads / (R-18) Sister Princess in Isekai like world. / Chapter 4 - Sister's Potential.

Chapter 4 - Sister's Potential.

As Kai continued observing the intense battle unfolding at the town's entrance, he couldn't help but marvel at his sister's newfound abilities.

Amara, his sister, had taken up the path of a sword magician, combining her magical prowess with her impressive swordsmanship. The way she moved through the enemy ranks with incredible speed and precision was a sight to behold.

Kai realized that sword magicians possessed a unique advantage over traditional magicians or mages in combat situations.

While magicians wielded immense power in their spells, sword magicians had the added advantage of close combat skills, making them formidable opponents.

Watching Amara effortlessly dispatch the reptile-dragon-like monsters, Kai couldn't help but acknowledge the fear that must have gripped their enemies.

Even their own family members, who were known for their magical abilities, didn't dare challenge her. It dawned on Kai that Amara was likely hiding her true strength, as she seemed to hold back during the battle.

This realization left Kai both reassured and intrigued. With a sister possessing such incredible power, he felt a sense of safety in this world, despite his current vulnerable position.

Though Kai acknowledged his reliance on his sister for protection, he brushed off any feelings of pity or self-consciousness.

His thick skin and indifference to societal judgments shielded him from such concerns. After all, in a world where strength was valued above all else, having a powerful sister like Amara was a boon rather than a cause for shame.

As Kai continued observing the battle, he noticed the unwavering command and unity among the knights fighting alongside his sister.

Seraphina, their leader, issued precise orders, which the knights executed with unwavering accuracy and quick thinking. Kai marveled at the efficiency and teamwork displayed by the knights as they coordinated their efforts to protect the townspeople.

From his vantage point on the third floor, Kai could see the outskirts of the small town, where the battle raged on.

The noise and chaos of the clash filled the air, punctuated by the occasional roar of a defeated monster. The town was no stranger to such threats, as demon or beast attacks were a common occurrence.

Kai's very presence in the town was linked to this constant danger, as he had been sent there to prevent him from growing more powerful and gaining popularity among the townsfolk.

With each passing moment, Kai's admiration for his sister's abilities grew. She wielded her sword and magic with skill and precision, effortlessly eliminating any threat that came her way.

The monsters stood no chance against her swift movements and deadly combination of close combat skills and long-range magic attacks. It became evident to Kai why sword magicians were held in such high regard.

As the battle raged on, Kai couldn't help but wonder what other hidden powers and abilities his sister possessed.

He knew that Amara was not just a magician and a sword magician but had mastered both disciplines to a high level. The extent of her true strength remained a mystery, known only to herself.

Kai pondered the possibilities, realizing that his sister's untapped potential was a force to be reckoned with. In that moment, Kai's fears subsided, replaced by a newfound sense of security.

He knew that with a sister like Amara by his side, he had a formidable ally and protector. The world may have deemed it pitiful for him to rely on a woman for his safety, but Kai's resilience and indifference to societal norms allowed him to find solace in their unique bond.

As the battle continued to unfold, Kai couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude for having Amara as his sister.

With her hidden powers and unwavering determination, he knew that he had a guardian angel in the midst of chaos. And with that thought, Kai's concerns faded away, replaced by a renewed sense of hope and determination to face whatever challenges lay ahead.

"The system installation is complete, and the beginner package has been received with one random profession added, along with 1000 Gp for personal usage."

Kai was continually enthralled as he watched the battle and was discovering the true strength of the swordsman magician.

He was startled when he heard the voice from his dream and saw a transparent screen on his retina because he had assumed that everything that had happened to him since going to sleep was a dream and had never imagined that he would actually experience one.

"Welcome host Kai... to the Multiverse Guild System."

"Would you like to access the storage system, check out the gains from the beginner package, and try random profession stele?"

A notification about the various uses and an introduction to the things that were still available to him appeared on the screen with an iconic, emotionless voice.

Kai's consideration of system storage led to the appearance of the storage option and a small, metal bar with an ancient appearance in his hand.

Kai was a little startled, but he managed to contain his excitement and go check on the object in his hand in his room first.

[Profession Changing Stele]

[An item which can create random profession for host and through its passive abilities, host will have easier time learning any skill related to the profession obtained.]

[Note: it is a basic stele and will not have much boost compare to stele or higher ranking, although it can make an monkey like you to appear out like a genius among other idiots.]

Kai's mouth twitched as he read it all and thought about how the system's comment was somewhat toxic. He then decided not to worry too much about it and activated the stele to get his first profession out of it in a seemingly random way.

"System-checking the line, sorting all possible professions, and starting skill randomization." A bright light appeared in front of Kai, along with the ringing tone and spinning wheel, and the stele name was changed to the alchemic profession-changing stele. Along with the same ringing tone, "Congratulations for the host's C+ rank profession [alchemist], and due to its supportive nature, the system has generated 3 random potion for the host."

Kai felt the rush of information regarding potions like Recovery Potion, Mana Accumulation Potion, and even Blinding Powder.

Kai found it to be a bit of a problem when the materials required for each of them were outside his knowledge sphere, so he decided to visit the guild store to see if he could find anything.

When he finally dug through various items and discovered a notebook listing all the herbs found in his world and their names according to various regions, that could have cost him more than 50 Gp.

"It is rather cheap..." Kai thought when he found a profession stele among them and learned that it cost around 5000 Gp to get one of them.
