Chereads / Soul of Darkness / Chapter 15 - 15

Chapter 15 - 15

Tier 1 would allow them to have superhuman physiques and be able to use energy.

Their attacks would at maximum affect an area of 100 meters.

Tier 2 would make one able to freely use energy as their reserves would be ten times the size of tier 1s.

The area they would be able to affect is 1km and their bodies will become even more durable and through energy refinement from rank 1 to 2 one's body will become more physically appealing.

As for the other ranks, they will hate to achieve rank 1 first so I won't worry too much for now.

The estimated speed of achieving rank 1 is a minimum of 600 years.

I am not worrying too much about the elves dying halfway since they could easily live up to 1000 years.

...

660 years passed and I made it to level 230.

The first batch of tier 1 beings has appeared and they started to manage and create their own countries and kingdoms.

For testing purposes, I allowed 10 people to meditate and out of 10,2 died in meditation accidents,4 became crippled after provoking another member of their group and only 4 managed to achieve tier 1.

4 people to achieve this level was similar to my expectations so I gave them some crafting recipes for some basic pills and potions and I went back to the surface.

As I got back and looked in the distance a thought passed my head.

Why not make a temporary laboratory where I could try to create some artificial beings?

This thought became reality as in 4 years a floating city was located somewhere between continents, above the ocean.

I positioned it 1 km above the water and made it 50 square kilometers in diameter.

Houses filled the place and some Metal cubes could be seen between the houses.

In the center stood a tall tower that was covered in a matte black material that absorbed light.

Multiple creatures could be seen on the city streets.

From pale beings that had humanoid bodies but fed on blood to tall, green giants that were 5 meters tall and had building muscles.

Even though they all had certain characteristics and different dispositions they all had something in common.

Everyone was respectful with each other and no one dared to make noise or to try and fight without reason.

They all knew that death was closer than one thought and that a single wrong move could make you die with grievances.

This was far from freedom, one could say that it was tyranny, and controlling the people like that is wrong.

If a normal human were to see this they would wonder why there hasn't been a revolution yet.

But it was pretty logical why everyone listened and adhered to the rules word by word.

In a normal society where one had to select a leader or even a king and his subjects, one could not command millions of people and expect them to listen to every order.

But this only applied to mortals.

When a place was ruled by a god every word was law and those who rebelled were instantly killed, in the best case.

Some would thank the heavens that they were killed and not brainwashed into submission, effectively turning into full puppets.

...

1 250 years passed and I got to level 270.

I started to notice the first human activity on a small continent somewhere far from my city.

They were making crude tools and had primitive methods of building homes and making fires.

The planet's core finally made its move and accelerated the evolution of primates into full humans.

These ones were very imperfect as they evolved from animals and did not have any primordial bloodline like the beings from the firmament world.

I decided to watch and not intervene in any way.

These humans were way below the elves and even my experiments were tens of times better than these imperfections could ever hope to be.

...

1 410 years passed and I made it to level 300.

I felt close to something like io could achieve something higher very soon...

I took my attention and focused it on the object in front of me.

A cube that was made purely out of my energy was placed on the table.

This object had the ability to expand and act as a crafting station that could 3d print almost anything using the materials given.

It is the first concept that I ever created using my whole knowledge of quantum technology.

Realistically one could replicate the cube and make more, given that they had enough technological advantage that interstellar travel was as affordable and practical as walking to the bathroom.

I shook my head and went out.

A maid wearing a suit greeted me upon exiting the laboratory.

-Does Master require something of me?

The maid had her head lowered as a calm voice resounded through the hall.

-Take this and hand it out to the vampire race and tell them they have 300 years to find a place and establish themselves there.

-Oh, and don't forget to remind them that humans should be left alone.

I handed her the cube and, after a few words my image flickered and I disappeared.
