"So, it's already the year 10,000 of the Divine Prefecture Calendar." Ye Huang murmured. Without knowing it, he spent his new year with the Su family. He did not even came back to the Ye family's house. His father should be cursing him for not being a filial son.
"What are you mumbling about?" Su Lingzhu on the side suddenly asked in confusion. They just entered Qingzhou Academy, and Ye Huang was already talking absentmindedly to himself. What a weirdo.
"It's nothing. It's just, we spent the new year in your home without knowing it." Ye Huang replied.
Su Lingzhu suddenly remembered that the new year was yesterday. Yesterday, Ye Huang stayed at her house, even eating together with her family. A smile gradually formed on her face. She said, "Will you come to my house next year?"
Ye Huang was stunned. He looked the beauty who also looking at him with some kind of expectation. This girl is no longer hidden by the curse. Her profile was shown radiantly.
"Sure." The simple answer from him caused the girl smile to grew bigger. "Thanks."
Saying that, she then headed into the direction of the main building in the Qingzhou Academy.
"Hei, where are you going?"
"To meet the elder of the academy. I want to re-register my name. Those people might think that I'm not a student here. As you can see, I am no longer the 'man' Su Lingzhu." Without looking back, she left.
Ye Huang was left alone, a bit speechless. Did she just left?
"I heard Hua Jieyu just left the academy with some strong cultivator."
Can you guys not talk about girl leaving? Ye Huang was feeling that these gossipy students is being sarcastic to him. A girl just left him and here he was hearing these people talk about some girl leaving. He sighed, these guys are not considerate at all.
"Hei! There is a commotion in practice area of the Dark Qilin Knighthood." a student who run hurriedly yelled, informing all the students around.
"What happened?" a student asked.
"Ye Futian and Yu Sheng were there to inform Senior Sister Qin about a beast tide. However, Mo Lanshan obstructed them. The are fighting right now." The student run towards the main building of Qingzhou Academy after saying that.
"Ye Futian and Yu Sheng are fighting against Mo Lanshan?"
"Mo Lanshan is already a Three Star Glory Plane knight, will those to be able to get pass him?"
"Ah, I thought I saw Ye Huang just now."
A student suddenly mention Ye Huang as he saw him just now. However, he quickly disappeared from there.

Ye Huang was hurrying towards the place as said to be where the commotion we're going on. Arriving there, he only saw some guy on the ground who got beaten. Mo Lanshan was among these beaten people.
Above on the sky, a black qilin has just left the area. He could also see You Sheng leaving the area, towards the dorm in annoyance.
"I was a little late." Ye Huang did not follow the black qilin. He knew that Ye Futian and Qin Yi will just met Qin Yi's father, Qin Shuai on Qingzhou Lake.
What he worried the most right now is that Ye Futian might not get Emperor Ye Qing inheritance. In the original story, Ye Futian was supposed to be expelled from Qingzhou Academy. This lead him to have the excuse to follow and coerce the Heiyan Academy's Headmaster, which then will lead several force to turn on him, and forces him to get killed by the beast in Mount Tianyao. This then just helped Ye Futian to directly get the inheritance.
However, this is not the case when Ye Huang changed some events. Ye Futian is no longer an expelled students. This may become an obstacle for him to go into that place to get the inheritance.
Should I go and take it instead? However, it's not going to be easy for him to get it. The guardian of the inheritance, the Snow Ape will not care for him, and may just kill him on the spot.

Arriving there he headed for the cultivation area. Right now, he want to check on something. Sitting in meditative posture, he send his consciousness into his Life Palace and checked the condition of his Life Spirit.
After the creation of the Vermilion Bird, he knew some activity occurred in his Life Palace. There was a spiritual gate floating above the Life Spirit. However, this spiritual gate is a bit blurry.
Ye Huang tried to activate the gate to check what it was used for. A gate opened outside, in front of Ye Huang. For some reason, Ye Huang knew the gate inside of his Life Palace and the one outside is connected to each other.
Ye Huang tried to enter the get by pushing his hand into it, but was unsuccessful. Is it not for me to enter? He then tried to take other thing into the gate, but still failed.
What is this gate for? He suddenly thought of something. He tried to communicate his senses into the Life Palace, and commanded his Avatar to come out.

The Avatar comes out through the gate. Ye Huang's eyes sparkled with delight. This mean I could bring out those two beast out. Then, If I ever find myself in a pinch, I could let them fight together with me, thought Ye Huang.
He then tried to communicate to the beast to comes out. Unfortunately, there are no reaction from those beasts. Did I do it wrongly? He tried again and again, but failed each time. He then started to experiment using the try and error methods.
Some time later, Ye Huang stopped experimenting. He found out that this gate has some limit.
Firstly, anything from outside cannot enter into it, except it was from the inside. On the other hand, something taken out through the gate from his Life Palace is limited to just one thing. If for example he took out his Avatar, he could not take out anything else.
Secondly, those replicated beast has the same characteristics as his Avatar. Every single one of them is counted as an entity. This is mean, there are four entities inside his Life Palace; the Avatar, Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, and his Life Spirit. So when he took out his Life Spirit, it is counted as one, without those beasts.
Thirdly, there is a time limit on how long he could let out these entities from his Life Palace. Each outing is limited to twenty minutes. After that it automatically disappeared back into his Life Palace. After that, he needed to wait for twenty seconds to attempt another outing.
Lastly, he found out that except for his own Life Spirit, his Avatar and the beasts has their own consciousness once they were taken out of his Life Palace. This shocked him greatly. Not just that, they could talk too!
The first time he took out the Azure Dragon, it talked, "Finally, I could see the real world."
This caused Ye Huang to almost jump out from his meditative posture. He hurriedly pulled back the dragon into his Life Palace.
"Wait, wait..ahhhh!"

"Master, please let me out again. I still haven't breathed enough the air outside." the Azure Dragon pleaded to be taken out again.
"Hei, it's my turn to come out. I want to see the outside world too." the Vermilion Bird said with expectation on it's eyes. Bother beast flew up and circled the gate.
"Stop both of you. It takes twenty seconds before any of us could go outside." the Avatar chided the two.
On the outside, Ye Huang was stunned to see this development. This is beyond his understanding. Except for his Life Spirit and Avatar, these beast can be said to exist because he 'created' them. Did he just created a life? This is incredible.
In the end, he left the dorm and headed outside of Qingzhou Academy. After that, he let the beasts take turn to come out. After coming out, these beast seems more alive when they come back inside.
"How do you guys able to talk?" Ye Huang asked the beasts curiously.
The two beasts looked at the Avatar. The Azure Dragon said, "When he came out, I suddenly can talk."
"Same here." The bird nodded in agreement.
Ye Huang looked at his Avatar curiously. This guy came to existence the moment he got awakened as a cultivator. He was shrouded by some kind of mystery. Ye Huang suspected that he has something to do with the fact that he is still alive after getting struck by lightning a few months ago.
"Master, there is actually one thing that we needed Master's help." The Azure Dragon suddenly informed.
"I'm all ears."
"I think I need a name. I think they too need one." the Vermilion Bird nodded, while the Avatar just silently stood at the side.
"Don't you have a name? You are Azure Dragon, he is Vermilion Bird, and he is Avatar."
"That's different. I'm not sure about Avatar, but Azure Dragon and Vermilion Bird are just our race. We need an individual name." the bird shook it's head and explained.
Name huh. Let see, we got a dragon, a vermilion bird, and...my double persona. Ye Huang tried to think out a name for all three of them. A breath of time later, he selected a name that he felt suitable for all three of them.
He looked at the Azure Dragon and said, "Your name shall be Shenron."
Back at Earth, Ye Huang was a fan of the anime Dragon Ball. He just copied Shenron name and gave it to the Azure Dragon.
The moment the dragon was named, it undergone a transformation. The dragon slowly become smaller, and changed into a human form.
The human dragon, Shenron has a stature that resembled Ye Huang. A teenage at the age of sixteen, a handsome face, and full with vitality. His face though a bit similar to Ye Huang.
"Why is your face a bit similar to mine?" Ye Huang asked, a bit annoyed.
"Master I cannot help it. I guess I inherited master's handsome face." Shenron smiled wryly. He was not in control of his own transformation.
"Master, forget about him. It's my turn. What is my name?" The Vermilion Bird asked eagerly.
"Your name is Sokyoku." Ye Huang got this name from the Bleach anime. The bird Sokyoku sentenced many Shinigami to death.
Another transformation happened, and this time by the Vermilion Bird. Like Shenron, Sokyoku also transformation into a young man, who resemble Ye Huang.
Ye Huang felt distressed. "Can you guys transform with other face?"
Sokyoku also felt helpless, "We have no control on our transformation. Sorry master."
Ye Huang can only accept these facts with a sigh. He then looked at the Avatar.
"I already thought about my own name." to Ye Huang surprise, this guy unexpectedly found his own name.
"Well, let's hear it then."
"Give me this name, Ye Gwak."
"What the heck is that? Why such a name?" Ye Huang was unable to comprehend where and how did this guy come up with such a name.
"I saw a dream about a guy who died, and reincarnated into another world. He is good with many sword arts. His name is Yi Gwak. Your family name is Ye. So, let me have the name Ye Gwak."
Is he talking about a certain film called The Restless? How did he manage to dream about it? Or is it just a coincidence? Ye Huang contemplated the name for a minute, and it seems to be a bit related to him.
He died and reborn in this new world, and that Yi Gwak guy died and reincarnated into the soul world. It really is similar.
"Alright then. You will be called Ye Gwak from now on."

"You wanna know?"
"Tell me."
"It's...secret." Ye Gwak made a serious face.
"..." Ye Huang almost want to drag out Yi Gwak from his Life Palace, and beat him until he is willing to spit out his secret.
"Are you thinking of beating me?"
"Do you think I cannot beat you?"
"You won't be able to enter the Life Palace."

Ye Huang then thought of forcing him out by opening the gate.
"I know what you think. But I won't come out. I also can close the gate."
