Chapter 28 - God ki?

"The fight is a bit boring with Gohan like this… Let's mess with Gohan for a bit…" Haru said smilingly and snapped his fingers
Muten Roushi heard and saw Haru and asked with a bit of worry "Haru-sama… What did you do?"
"Nothing important… I gave Gohan a boost."
At this moment whilst Cell was laughing maniacally "How dare you mock me despite being treated as a punching bag by me?"
The z fighters looked at Gohan in worry whilst Piccolo grabbed Goku by his clothes and said "Look at what you did! Gohan is being played around by Cell!"
Goku just smiled and said ignoring Piccolo who grabbed his shirt "Well… just watch…"
Piccolo gritted his teeth and let go of Goku and prayed 'Gohan…'
Meanwhile, Gohan blinked as Cell was treating him like punching bag he saw a sight that he doesn't ever want to see
Vegeta was stabbed in the stomach through a rock, Trunks head was displayed on top of a rock like a lollipop, Android 16, Piccolo were dismembered, Raditz, Android 17, and Android 18 was headless and Goku's body was pierced by Cell's hand through his heart as he looked at Gohan and laughing like a maniac "What's wrong? Gohan? You still don't want to kill me?"
Gohan's eyes turned red at this sight as he heard Haru on his side chuckle "Do you still wanna be the kind and naive little boy if this is the result of your actions?"
Gohan calmed down a bit as he looked at Haru in understanding of what he was seeing. "I understand now… I'm sorry…"
Haru just laughed and undid what he showed Gohan
In the real world only a second have passed and Gohan opened his eyes and punched Cell in the stomach
"Guah!" Cell yelled in pain as he was sent flying by Gohan's punch but he just backflipped to reduce how much he was flying "That strength! Impossible!"
Gohan was slowly floated from the crater and lightning surrounded his whole body that was shrouded by golden ki
Goku smiled at this sight "See?"
Piccolo speechless nodded as he felt Gohan's ki but suddenly he felt Gohan's ki vanish and a large amount of golden cloud covered the surrounding where Gohan and Cell were fighting and people watching the fight. The weather suddenly changed from sunny… windy… cloudy… snowy… rainy…
Cell looked at Gohan in disbelief "What's happening?"
Goku also looked at Gohan in disbelief as this wasn't the power he saw in the hyperbolic time chamber. And smiled helplessly that his son had exceeded his expectations as he let out a dry laugh.
Piccolo asked "What's happening, Son?"
Goku who was laughing with a dry laugh replied "Even I don't know what's happening… haha…"
Vegeta and the others just stared at Gohan to see what was going to happen at the same time they heard a laugh
"HAHAHAHA! I certainly didn't expect this!" Haru laughed like a maniac as he approached the z-fighters riding the white cloud with Bulma, Trunks, and Muten Roushi
Muten Roushi looked at Haru as he asked, he was confused too "What's happening? Haru-sama?"
Goku saw Haru and asked as well "You know what's happening? Haru-niisan?"
Vegeta and the others also looked at Haru with expectation of the answer to this phenomena.
Haru chuckled before he replied "Of course, I know. It's the birth of the Super Saiyan God! I expected him to tap onto his hidden potential but I didn't expect him to turn into a God suddenly. HAHAHAHA!"
Gohan's nature itself was compatible with god ki, plus he has human bloodline that made his ki calmer than most Saiyans making god ki possession possible unlike current Goku.
Goku and Bulma looked at Haru in shock "Super Saiyan God? Gohan became a god?"
Vegeta also interjected "That kid tapped into the powers of god?"
Piccolo and the others we're also shocked at this development
Whis also arrived "Oh my… Haru-san, Isn't this the Super Saiyan God? Did you teach it to him?"
Haru just chuckled at Whis' arrival and said "I didn't, but I'm teaching them to. I didn't expect this kid to become a god myself. I don't even know how he knew to turn his ki into god ki. Maybe it's because of how I taught them a technique where they have to condense ki and this kid advanced that technique himself into god ki manual without me teaching him about god ki."
Whis nodded in understanding and replied "Then, this kid is a pure genius only behind you, Haru-san."
The announcer also saw this scene that was out of this world and announced to the world "Oh my god! What is happening?! The little boy who was fighting Cell was covered by the golden clouds and it seemed like a heavenly ceremony was taking place. It's like a god is being born upon the world! And the world is supporting his birth!"
Before this transformation
Gohan's train of thought 'I have to become more powerful!' he thought as he tried to transform into a super Saiyan 2 but noticed the difference in ki between him and Haru as he saw his ki before 'No this is wrong… Uncle Haru's ki was calmer and smooth flowing, not violent like this…' and then the ceremony for the first Super Saiyan God commenced. He felt the universe itself was helping him change into a powerful version of himself and just let it change him.
The change in season stopped and Gohan slowly descended from the sky like a god covered by red ki only his shadow was being seen.
The red ki slowly teared off from the shadow of Gohan and slowly revealed Gohan's body with flame like ki surrounding his body. The golden clouds also slowly dispersed from the ceremony to acknowledge the birth of a god is now done.
[Power Level: 240,536,258,000]
Haru smiled at this sight
Gohan looked at his arms and was surprised at his newfound powers but saw Cell in front of him and delivered a fast strike into his stomach.
Cell, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Trunks, or anyone else saw it coming
Cell just flew away as Gohan intended "Aghhhh!"
Whis and Haru just watched the fight in interest at Gohan's newfound strength.
Cell crashed into a rock and Gohan followed him as Gohan looked down on Cell with his godly strength. "Surrender, Cell. I don't want to kill you."
Whis looked at Gohan and said "Oh my…"
Haru chuckled while saying "Interesting. After all he saw, he still doesn't want to kill Cell?"
Goku and the rest looked at Gohan's prowess in shock as they never imagined Gohan could be that strong. He didn't even see him move.
Cell with saliva all over his mouth from the damage he received from Gohan shouted angrily "Stop mocking me!" and rushed towards Gohan
Gohan just moved at a speed Cell couldn't see and punched at his stomach.
"Gah!" Cell moaned in pain as he was again sent flying to the ground.
"Will you surrender or not?" Gohan's monotone voice devoid of anger or happiness knowing what would happen if he wasn't this strong.
Cell looked at Gohan in grievance as he stood up in difficulty and laughed like a maniac "I'd rather die than surrender! HAHAHAHAHA! I'm gonna take everyone on this planet with me!"
Cell began to use everything in his power to sacrifice his life in return to being able to explode 10 times his strength.
Gohan didn't look surprised and said "I see…" he surrounded Cell with god ki and began to shrink the ki into nothingness.
Cell screamed in anger and pain trying to struggle out of the god ki "DAMN YOUUU!!!! GOHAN!!!!!!!!!!!"
Cell's body was slowly turned into Cell's body like a compressor and Cell's blood spurting everywhere but was condensed until Cell turned into nothingness.
Gohan dispersed his ki and burned whatever was left of Cell into ashes
Gohan looked at the sky and didn't regret anything as it was kill or be killed. If he didn't do it everyone would die. Being a hero wasn't what he expected. It was filled with all the glory and fame but behind that was a huge amount of corpses of the evil people the hero killed.
Goku and the rest just looked at Gohan in shock for his ruthlessness.
Gohan slowly descended in front of the z-fighters and said with a smile "I did it. I brought peace into the world."
Goku approached Gohan in worry and asked "Are you okay?"
Gohan smiled and replied "Yes… I'm just not really suited for killing."
Haru then smiled at Gohan "If you don't want to kill, you have to be stronger than anyone you'll ever meet. When you have the power to control life and death, you can choose not to kill because you're stronger than everyone to the point that they cannot get in the way that you chose to live."
