"You're still that much stronger than me? Haru-niisan?" Goku asked as he clenched his fist in excitement
"That's right. How about it? Wanna test your strength against me?" Haru asked as he smiled towards Goku
"Yes!" Goku replied excitedly as he flew to the open part of the lookout.
"I see… Alright!" Haru said as he snapped his fingers teleporting in front of Goku leaving Bulma and Trunks on the couch.
Haru just stood on the opposite side of Goku as he taunted "Come at me."
"You don't have to tell me!" Goku replied as he dashed towards Haru.
Haru dodged slightly to the left while Goku already anticipated this and used a ki blast to change the direction of his punch causing Haru to dodge downwards.
As Goku's thinking was still not in sync with his instinct it was a few millisecond before he decided to throw a kick towards Haru's stomach who ducked a bit.
"I see you're relying more on your raw power instead of your instinct. You were much better when you were younger." Haru commented as he punched Goku heavily in the stomach
"Guaaahhhhh!" Goku with his usual screaming screamed as he was sent flying by Haru's punch.
Goku stopped in a distance after he was sent flying for a bit "Ouch, ouch, ouch that hurt!"
He heard Haru's comment so he asked "What do you mean by that Haru-niisan?"
Haru just smiled and asked "How do I fight you?"
"What?" Goku asked in confusion
Haru just replied as he lowered his power similar to Goku's power "I'll lower my battle power to similar to your own. Try to see the difference between our fights."
The z-fighters heard what Haru just said so they put their full attention into the fight wanting to learn something from the fight.
Goku smirked and replied "Then. Be careful, Haru-niisan."
"Ooorrryaaa!" Goku yelled as he dashed towards Haru
Haru still dodged slightly and rotated his body to send a kick towards Goku's face
Goku who was sent flying screamed again "Uwaaah!"
Goku stopped again in midair as he prepared "Ka… me… ha… me…" at the end of the chant he teleported behind Haru as he ducked a bit intending to launch the kamehameha upwards.
Haru felt this and just smiled as he heard "Haaaa!!!!!!" he crouched beside Goku and whispered "Who are you aiming at?"
Goku alarmed tried to immediately deactivate his kamehameha but it took several millisecond so he was sent flying again as haru kicked him in the back of his head after he stood up
"Uwahhhh!" Goku, who was sent flying, spun in midair to slow down the way he was sent flying and stopped in mid air "Huff… huff…"
Haru just smiled at Goku who was hovering mid air and asked "How was your and my fighting style different?"
Goku scratched his head in embarrassment as he answered "I'm not sure…"
Haru just laughed and changed his question "Then how is your fighting style different from today and from the past when you were a kid? What did your masters' from the past teach you if you don't even change after growing up."
Goku put his legs in a sitting position as he hovered mid air and answered "Hmmm…."
"I got it!" Goku said as if something clicked in his head
Haru then smiled at Goku's only talent, his battle instinct "Then come at me."
Goku just flew incredibly fast towards Haru trying to kick him
Haru just dodged slightly but Goku anticipated this and materialized a ki wall after he passed through Haru and used it as stepping stone
"!!!" The z fighters watching
But Haru just smiled and collided his fist with Goku's punch. Goku ignored the pain from the punch and went to punch Haru. Haru dodged, and sent a punch that would send Goku flying if he didn't dodge but Goku dodged but the punch brushed towards his head and Haru used a ki blast to change direction of his punch and sent Goku flying away.
Haru smiled as he saw Goku flying away from his punch and laughed "Goku."
Goku hovered in the sky as he looked at Haru who sent him flying and asked "What is it? Haru-niisan?"
"Undo your super Saiyan form." Haru instructed
Goku was confused but replied as he undid his super Saiyan form "Done."
"Now, close your eyes and remember the teachings of your past masters. Although all of them are different they have one source and learn from that source."
Goku nodded as he closed his eyes and remembered Korin, Kami, and King Kai
Korin "Too much wasted movement. That's why you run out of breath quickly"
Kami "Be as tranquil as the heavens, and as quick as a bolt from the blue."
King Kai "Wanna be the strongest in the universe? Then you gotta train not just your body, but also your spirit."
(A/N: Not sure if it's Kami or Mr. Popo but it's a fan-fiction anyway so take it as just Piccolo like I said lol.)
Haru smiled sensing Goku's change inside and said as he chuckled "That's right… Just dive into your heart, Goku… You'll find the answer in there…"
Goku's ki went into a qualitative change and greyish ki was surrounding his body.
Muten Roushi looked at Goku and reacted "!!!!"
Krillin asked as he noticed Muten Roushi "What's wrong, Muten Roushi-sama?"
Muten Roushi laughed and said as he shed a tear "I was right afterall! The peak I saw was the peak of martial arts! Hahahaha"
The other z-fighters looked at Muten Roushi in confusion not knowing what he was talking about.
Haru just smiled as he saw their reaction and praised "That's right, Muten Roushi. That was the peak, well… the first step to the peak. Don't give up now just because you're old."
Muten Roushi who was looking at him replied "Yes! Lord Haru!"
The others looked at Muten Roushi in shock as they didn't know that this old man was that accomplished in martial arts
Vegeta, specially couldn't accept it and said 'This old man saw the peak? How is that possible? This old man is clearly not that strong.'
While this was happening
Goku opened his eyes and his eyes turned silver and looked at Haru "Haru-niisan."

(A/N: Ultra instinct embodies the peak of the body's prowess at x10000 the base if they have not mastered it yet. where every movement is the body's instinct. The sign which is about x1000 in prowess as it show's the sign to the body's peak.)
Haru just smiled and attacked as if he teleported in front of Goku sending a huge shockwave to the surrounding area only noticeable after the attack as if it went through space and time before it arrived in front of Goku.
But Goku dodged like his body has only moved slightly and jumped backwards to gain some distance first. Goku looked at his hands in amazement not believing his body could move like this.
"That's right, Goku… that's your path… Follow it…" Haru said as he rushed towards Goku.
Goku just kept dodging and dodging as Haru attacked him.
Haru used ki blasts in between the attacks but Goku just dodged with ease

Vegeta couldn't believe what he was seeing 'How can Kakarot move like that?'
Raditz was proud of his brother's newfound strength but couldn't help but have the same thoughts as Vegeta.
Gohan's eyes also widened wondering how his father could move like that but just commented excitedly "Father became incredibly strong!"
Piccolo who heard Gohan's comment nodded and looked in amazement towards Goku.
The z-fighters also nodded as they watched Goku dodging all of Haru's attacks.
Muten Roushi who was watching with a sagelike voice advised "All of you watch this properly. This is the peak of martial arts."
They just nodded as they watched the fight with all their attention. Even if Muten Roushi didn't advise them to, they would do it themselves as this was the end of the path they took.
As Haru was letting Goku dodge, he suddenly noticed a change in Goku's ki and teleported away from Goku with understanding. "It seems like your body can't handle it right now, Goku."
Goku just looked at him in confusion and stood opposite of Haru. Suddenly "URAAHGGGGHHHH!"
Goku cried in pain as he rolled on the ground trying to reduce the damage he was feeling
Gohan cried in worry as he tried to go towards Goku "FATHER! WHAT'S WRONG?!"
Haru just stopped Gohan and said "Don't worry. He's just feeling the consequence of feeling the peak of his strength without having body strong enough to handle it."
Gohan with a pale face just nodded as he watched Goku suffer from the pain
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Goku screamed as he punched the ground on the lookout. Black lightning was visibly dancing in the body of Goku as the z-fighters watched in worry.
Vegeta also looked at Goku as he clenched his fist 'I see… That was the peak of Goku's strength at that moment but doesn't have the capability to handle it yet. If I'm also at my peak I will also be as strong as him. No! Stronger!"
