The world changed in 1989 when the human race found a liquid that could give a person the power to control elements they called these people Tempus. so they put this liquid into weapons to harness the power they also found it to be a amazing source of power. this caused a big war around the would for this liquid it was later named liquid elements in 1991 but we know it as LE.

Nina hearing her name being called looked away from the windows outside and up to her teacher with a bored look and sighed before she answered him.

well what happened to make everyone stop fighting Nina asked with a bored tone while looking away when she finished talking.

Nina's teacher just sighed and went on with his lesson, the reason everyone stoped fighting is because of the number of people dying, the war itself killed more than one third of the human population. so the leaders of all the countries got together and made a deal they would not kill each other but they would still fight against each other even though the treaty was made. So they all came up with a game so no more people will die these games are what we know as the Tempus War's we have been playing this game since 2007.

Nina may I speak with you in my office please, Nina looked behind her to see the school counselor calling her and with a sigh Nina nodded her head and went with him to his office.

As Nina sat down in a chair she looked out side the window to see what was outside.

Nina I'm here to talk about you grades they are not the best but I believe you can still fix them before school is over the counselor started to say as he looked at his computer typing on it as if he was looking for something.

Yeah ok was all Nina said as she kept staring outside looking at the tree's as they moved with the wind

Nina if you are going to fix your grades you have to actually pay attention and do the work the counselor said seeing Nina starring outside. He got up and went to the window and closed the blinds

Nina you have two options to get a passing grade you can either do all the work you didn't do or well the second option is probably not safe for you seeing as you need a cane to walk the counselor said as he sat back down at his desk

what is the second option Nina said looking the counselor in the eyes with both her hands laying on top her cane

the counselor sighed and said the second option is you join the Temp team in our school and play in the the Tempus games. The school will not care about your grades if you win but you shouldn't do it you know how dangerous those games get. You've seen the games on the news and how badly people get hurt in them you should just do the missing work and move one with your life.

I will like to join the Temp team please Nina said with a small smile as she seemed to like the thought of not having to do homework

and with a heavy sigh the counselor typed on his computer and looked at Nina and said you have to go downstairs on the first floor and go to room A117 there you will find the club room I already sent a message to the club advisor just go there and talk to her about it

I wonder what the people in the club are like Nina wondered as she made her way down to the stairs.

When Nina got to room A117 she opened the door just for her to stare down a barrel of a rifle, Nina fell backwards dropping her cane to the ground in shock.

OH my I am so sorry are you ok Nina looked at the girl holding the gun and saw the blonde girl who ran past her upstairs.

o-oh it's ok I just wasn't expecting a rifle to be pointing in my face that's all Nina said grabbing her cane and standing back up.

I was sent here to talk to the club advisor to see if I can join the the Temp team Nina said while dusting her self off.
