With time, they became best friends and inseparable, but Janette did not tell Cecil anything about her escape plan.
She tried many times to escape but to no avail, each time, she was caught before she could even execute her plan. Even though Janette didnt know any of her family, she wanted to find her aunt, who she had been living with before she was sent to the castle.
Janette and cecil were never restricted from using mobiles phones and technology in the castle.
Even though their location could be traced through their phones by their enemies, the castle had systems that could block all signals and traces of their location so they were allowed to use the phones and other gadgets.
One afternoon after training, Janette was listening to music on her headphones when an genius idea popped into her mind, and of course it was an escape plan.
She planned the whole escape for sometime and after a week it was finally ready to be executed. Even though it was a small plan, she knew she had to think very carefully, so she spent a lot of time on it.
Since she was always caught before she could get through the gates of the castle, she decided to jump from the roof into a bush that was outside to escape.
It was a sunday, and most sundays were used for resting in the whole castle so the number of guards on duty were limited.
Janette knew it was wrong for her not to include Cecil but she knew he would stop her if she told him.
So she wrote a goodbye letter, placed it in Cecil's bag and ran to the roof of the castle ready to jump.
She knew she had a very low chance of survival but she only hoped to sustain minor injuries. "THIS IS MY ONLY CHANCE, AND I WILL SURVIVE."
She hoped some of her training would help her escape, and it did, but just when she was about to jump.
She heard a voice say "STOP OR ELSE ILL SHOOT".
