A rare sight could be seen on the main street of the town - Soran and Aldric leading dozens of soldiers, marching in unison toward the tall and imposing staircase that led to their new palace.
Apart from the World Tree at the top, they were transforming many things around here to resemble a pyramid-like structure, at least because that would be the icon of the guild that would be the future of Eldoria.
The soldiers took turns stepping on the staircase, forming neat rows with anxious hearts. Despite Soran's advice to stay relaxed, the words had not fully penetrated their minds.
Since the destruction of the old palace and church that used to be at the top, few people would climb the stairs without any specific purpose. Some even considered it a sacred or audacious act without permission from the Pharaoh.
As a result, it was quite normal for only high-ranking officials to traverse the stairs regularly, up and down.
