From the break of dawn to the setting of the sun, and finally to the emergence of the moon, its light now dim and perhaps unable to pierce through the grounds of Eldoria as effectively. The hustle and bustle gradually fades into tranquility's peak. In the distance, a few loud voices can be heard, but they are nothing more than laughter and banter from the people below.
Perched atop the treetops of the world's tree, Anubis watches over everything. He can oversee nearly the entirety of the town that has fallen under his dominion. He can sense the pulsating life at rest within each building and house. He can feel the calm and serenity emanating from those gazing up at the world's tree.
As all his subordinates are absent from the town, he stands guard alone. It's not a problem if the attackers are powerful monsters, but the primary concern arises when the assailants are those who understand the secrets behind this world.
