Aldric walked closer to the base of the tree, hesitating to climb up to the same spot as the eagle. Instead, he chose to stand at the edge of the pool, trying to see what the eagle was attempting to show him. "Not sure if this bird understands communication, but it should, right? After all, you're a messenger eagle."
Upon closer observation, he noticed that the surface of the water source remained remarkably calm despite the constant desert winds. However, it was only after a moment that Aldric realized the wind didn't reach the area of the water source. Stepping away, he immediately felt the wind blowing again. "Okay, that was not normal."
Now he was even more convinced that there was something peculiar about this water source. The eagle wouldn't have stopped and perched here if there weren't signs of something out of the ordinary. He dipped his hand into the water again, finding nothing unusual or different about it. "Just like any other water pool."
