The guard post stood as a sturdy structure, a fusion of weathered wood and stone, strategically situated at the juncture between the verdant expanse and the parched vastness of the desert. It comprised a sentinel tower that soared above the treetops, offering an unobstructed vantage to survey both the safe zone and the perilous wilderness that lay beyond.
The sentinel tower found itself encircled by a palisade crafted from timber, forming a protective embrace around a modest courtyard. A substantial wooden gate, fortified with iron fixtures, stood as the sentinel post's threshold. Guards roamed the precinct, their russet uniforms seamlessly blending with the earthy palette of their surroundings.
