Mother left soon after and I was left with my sister, who I had heard Mother refer to as Nami.
The moment the door was closed behind mother and it was just the two of us left in the room, she opened her mouth to speak.
"Haven't I told you not to take any more energy from mother?" She asked glaring at me with surprisingly new hatred compared to the calm expression she had on her face when our mother was around.
"It's useless for you. You'll only lose it the moment you step outside. Even if women are better at Transma{ Transfer of Mana} you are definitely the worst man in the village. Everyone knows You come instantly," she continued to say to me, informing me about things I didn't know about the current body I was in.
"Wow…not even up to a minute," I thought to myself with a long sigh, as I gently got off my feet and dusted whatever invisible dust had clung to my knees.
Just when I looked away with the intention of completely ignoring her and her threats, I watched her raise her left hand, shocked to see me float in the air to meet her in the next instant.
I was instantly shocked as I watched myself hover in the air, and watched her smirk in delight as she looked at me like I was nothing more but an ant.
"You look surprised? You shouldn't be. I'm already in the beginner stage of controlling air mana and a little more and I'll reach center stage," she said right before I felt myself drop back to the ground on both my feet.
I could tell that what she had just done took a slight toll on her body, as I watched specks of sweat litter her forehead, but still I couldn't help but be impressed and curious to know how I could also do the same.
As the thought of using magic filled my head, my eyes instinctively trailed down Nami's body, past her face which I found surprisingly attractive all the way to her boobs, which was definitely bigger than average, something I noticed about all the women I had seen so far.
I was still very much turned on, and I couldn't help it as my eyes trailed over Nami's own covered breasts, something she noticed which only made her glare at me the more in annoyance.
"Don't even think about this…" she scrolled at me before going ahead to walk to the left hand corner of the bed, proving that we indeed shared the same room and that the other bed in the room indeed belonged to her.
"Stay away from me. I would have taken mana from you but the meager amount you most likely have isn't worth sucking you over," she said, going ahead to lie down even as a small bomb suddenly went off in my head as I processed her last statement.
"She has sucked me off before?" I thought with a slight look of shock on my face, one that gradually disappeared when I realized that what felt like sexual interactions to me, was simply a transfer of mana to them.
"Well if my memory serves me right, the former owner of this body was bullied by every woman in the village and his sister wasn't any different," I thought to myself as I also fell on my bed with the intention of taking a quick nap, before going out to eat the dinner mother mentioned she was preparing.
Surprisingly, the nap lasted longer than I thought, and by the tile I woke up, I could see through one of the windows in the small room I was in that it was already completely dark outside.
"No phones, no clocks, no TV's…" I grumbled inside me, internally wondering how I was to cope in such an environment, even as I watched my sister get up at the same time, snapping her fingers together, a little surprised to see them begin to glow.
It was obvious that from farming to doing little things in the house, mana and magic were relied on, as I watched her with a slightly annoyed expression on her face hurriedly leave the room with no intentions of waiting for me.
She slammed the door behind her and instantly threw me back into complete darkness.
I took one step off the bed with the intention of relying on my memory to walk towards the door only for my foot to instantly come in contact with a hard stool, I could have sworn it wasn't there before I slept.
"Shit…" I explicitly cursed my expression, retching into one of instant pain, as I glared at the darkness around me and most especially my sister, who I blamed for the source of my pain.
A few minutes later, I crawled using my hands to feel around me on the floor to ensure that there was nothing else that could cause my more pain, as I slowly but surely shuffled over to the door.
But, just as I felt that I was probably only about a foot away from using my hands to touch the wood, when I shifted my hands, only for my fingers to brush against something soft and fleshy.
"Squeak…" I heard the animal react but I reacted much stronger as I jerked back in utter shock and fear, screaming a little in fear.
"Arrgh…" I yelped loudly enough for my shout to fill the room, as I scrambled back in fear, unconsciously feeling for the bed, so that I might instantly jump back up on it.
The next moment the door of the room swung open and I watched Mother step in with her hands illuminating the room as it also softly glowed in the dark.
"Caen…you yelled. Why aren't you coming out?…are you not hungry?" She asked and I didn't need to be asked twice as I instantly walked towards her as quickly as I could, even as my eyes searched the ground, shocked to see what seemed to be a rat dart under the bed to my shock and amazement.
"Is there any magic for killing rats?" I curiously asked instantly, making that my short term goal for the duration of my stay in that room.
Only for me to hear my mother chuckle behind me.
"Of course there is but do you know how high level detection and capture magic is? It's at least in the final stage of mana learning and so far only the village chief is able to do that not to mention the mana cost, simply for killing a rat," she responded shaking her head as she passed beside me and I followed her to the dinning table which was right outside the room.
"Getting to the final stage must be special then," I thought, slightly annoyed that my sister was close to getting to the center stage which was most likely just before the so called final stages, if one went by the names.
I got to the table with only four chairs around it, not surprised to already see my sister comfortably sitting with a plate of food already in front of her.
I tossed a glare in her direction, one she instantly ignored which made me turn my attention to the newest member of the family I was yet to meet.
"Father…" I said to him, instantly assuming that was who he was fr the bits of scrambled memories in my head, which was why I wasn't at all expecting all three members of my family to raise their heads and look at me with an expression of great shock.
It was obvious even to me, that I had suddenly made a great blunder.
