Booom
A powerful shockwave spread out flattening the Earth. Two figures were moving at Godly speeds trading blow after blow. Space vibrated violently.
It was unbelievable how such a huge creature could move at terrifying speed. Its bright flames were blazing with great intensity.
It was shocked how a weakling not long ago could match its speed. One had to know that it was in Legendary rank. This was the next rank after Emperor rank which Karl was currently in.
The difference between ranks was huge nearly impossible to cross but this brat had managed to do it. This fueled its desire to end him once and for all. He was a huge threat.
It's defence was nearly impenetrable however much he punched and kicked.
And for that, he pulled out his sword and slashed. Seeing this, it also used the black sword to block.
Clang!!! Boom!!!
He used this chance to land a lifting kick on its shin. Its body shot like a broken kite destroying everything in its path.
He immediately followed. With a thought, several ice spear were created. They shot towards it.
Swoosh Swoosh
A long sturdy ice spear appeared in his hands as he closed the distance. He coated it with miasma at the tip.
Before it could recover, he impaled the spear in its chest.
Roaaaaaaar!!!
A pained scream resounded from the depth of its soul. Miasma immediately took effect. It spread like a virus as it started devouring its inner being.
Faster than before, its clawed hand pierced his stomach. He immediately backed away. Blood gusted out but that was not his concern now.
He raised his sword towards the sky. Dark clouds gathered as the weather changed. This phenomenon happened allover New York.
No one knew where this came from as the sky just darkened in broad day light.
Lightning cracked and thunder roared. Strike of lightning flashed in the sky.
The devil was on its knees. Miasma stopped at nothing to dismantle its system. Its cosmic energy started wrecking havoc as it tried to push out the corrosive energy but they were futile attempts.
It's gaze shifted towards Karl who was preparing to end its life once and for all.
"You can't stop us. Soon your human race will devour each other for power. Be prepared for what is to come. The invasion is about to happen. Other races from other planes are descending on this planet." It's voice was hoarse and forced.
It had nothing to lose now that it was going to die. The power behind the lightning strike in the sky was immense.
With that it revealed a top secret the devils knew. Though they were in a separate realm, at the end of the day it was attached to Earth.
It's mission was to create a force of its own. It wanted to firmly establish its influence here but that seemed impossible now.
Cough.
It spat out black blood. Its health was deprecating faster.
Karl heard what it said but it was too late to gain more information.
Rumble Rumble
A thick lightning strike descended from the sky. The power begin it was immense.
The hair on the back of their heads stood.

In a blink of an eye, it struck the creature's towering body. The Earth shook vigorously as if an earthquake. Its body was reduced to bits and incinerated. It's limbs went missing.
Dust rose high in the sky. A huge crater of 200 meters wide appeared.
Karl was on his knees. His breathing unevenly.

With that resolve burning within him, Karl began to assess the damage and plan his next move. This base may have fallen, but he knew there were other hide outs elsewhere where the Shadow Gang performed its evils.
The appearance of this devil spoke volumes. This mrantcthere were others lurking somewhere. This was just the beginning.
A blood stench struck his nose. He walked sluggishly towards the dead entity. Its scorched body looked way disgusting.
Its body couldn't rot by normal means. He extended his hand forward. A bright crimson flame spread out and engulfed its body.
He stored away the strange black sword. As far as the eyes could see, they were total ruins.
This battle was a wakeup call to him. His enemies were way stronger. He almost died today. His body was totally exhausted.
Some injuries would take time to completely heal.
He dragged his ragged body and disappeared. His destination unknown. He had made sure to erase any traces of him or the devil.

That was the only world to describe the situation. Burnt corpses were littered on the ground. The strong Armed men were no more. A base with over 1000 men was erased over night.
After what seemed like an eternity, police sirens resounded. The devastating lightning couldn't go unnoticed.
Many citizens were scared shitless by its power. This alerted everyone admist the night.
Given that they had attacked at night, many were asleep but the thunderous boom woke them up.
In no time the ruins were encircled by police. The scene they witnessed made many vomit. This was a total massacre of people.
Over 1000 men's corpses were collected. 600 Espers and 400 ex military personnel. The base was vast given that it was a Major force of the Shadow Gang.
Everyone's blood turned cold as they witnessed the news over the TV. This scene was deeply engraved in their souls. This was a scene totally out of horror movies.
Detectives and high ranked police personnel were uncomfortable.
The reason for this was that they couldn't pinpoint what the hell managed to erase such a powerful gang over night in a few hours.
One had to know that this was the second strongest gang in New York they were talking about. Now imagine what expressions they were making.
The Chief detective, Detective Eric leaned calmly on his car. A dull glow of cigarette illuminated his face.
Six SUVs arrived. Several geared men came out. They assembled in an ordery fashion.
A heaven toppling woman stepped out. She had long green hair. She was very beautiful with a mature charm. She immediately captivated everyone's attention.
Her figure was too great to ignore. She had a hourglass figure. She was in a white shirt and a skimpy skirt. The skirt exposed her ivory smooth long legs. Her skin was flawless without any spot.
As she stepped out, Detective Eric immediately approached.
"It's nice to have you Madam in our city. Its quite a rare opportunity. We are grateful for your assistance." He said respectfully. The woman before him though looked way younger than him, only he knew what a monster she was.
