Max leaned in towards Aaron, his voice barely a whisper as he marveled, "Oh my god, dude, she's so hot!"
Aaron absentmindedly responded, his attention consumed by Serena, who walked gracefully beside Drake, a step ahead of them.
Annoyed, Max couldn't help but roll his eyes. "Would you stop ogling that ice queen and pay attention to me!" he chided.
Aaron tore his eyes away from Serena, his expression apologetic. "I'm sorry, I was just worried," he mumbled, but before he could continue, Drake's voice interrupted.
"So, the admiral offered you the deal, didn't he?" Drake inquired, turning around to face them, his sharp eyes assessing the situation.
