/Ruby's Pov/
I've always wanted to be an idol.
I couldn't help but be fascinated by Ai when I first saw her on television in my past life. Her voice, beauty, talents, and personality all capture my full attention to her. I would lie in my hospital bed, thinking...
"I wish I could just be like her..."
But I knew I couldn't due to my illness. I attempted to dance several times but kept falling. I eventually gave up. Not until a new doctor was appointed to care for me; his name is Gorou Amamiya, but once we got to know each other, I began calling him Sensei. When he discovered I was a major Ai fan, he kept encouraged me to pursue my ambition. So I continued to try to dance.
I kept trying, not just because it was my dream, but also because I wanted to achieve it for him. That's when I understood Sensei was also my shining star. But as my condition worsened, I was unable to stand. Sensei, on the other hand, rooted for me and would even buy Ai's fan things just for me. I like seeing Ai since she was my idol.
When my illness worsened, I realized I was going to die soon. Sensei did his hardest, but I could sense concern in his eyes. I couldn't move my body anymore, and later on, I couldn't even open my eyes, and all I could hear was Sensei playing Ai's music in my ears. At that moment, when I was about to die, I made one last dying wish: "God, please let me see Ai and Sensei one last time..."
Pfft! Who knew he actually granted it hehe. When Mama died, I was devastated. And when I thought Sensei had died, I discovered he had been my brother the entire time! The world may be pretty funny at times. Though there was a lot of pain, there were also many miracles in my life. Being an idol, meeting my friends, singing on stage, and discovering my brother is Sensei are all moments. I'm really happy!
Because of what happened to Mama, I sometimes wonder if I deserve to be this happy. I'm still angry at my father for what he did to Mama. When that mysterious crow girl revealed to me that my father was the one who organized everything. I was outraged, hurt, and swore vengeance. So, instead of being an idol because I actually wanted to, I began acting like my brother, who would lie and manipulate people.
To be honest, it was strange for me to do such things at first, but I was so desperate for vengeance for Ai and Sensei that it broke me. I was lost until I discovered my brother was Sensei's reincarnation. He reminded me of why I wanted to be an idol in the first place, and that I didn't want to lie about it. That made me really happy. But I was naive when I received that letter from him after he had vanished. That's when I discovered he had no one to support him.
I was meant to be the one to assist him, but instead I was the one who took his comfort. What a fool I was. He is always the one who looks after me and bears all of my burdens, and yet I-!
I was always the one who received his comfort. We had a sense that something had been lacking in our life ever since Mama passed away. I'm not sure what it is yet, but when I met Akari, it felt like if I got close to her, I'd be able to find that missing piece...
Anyway, let's get back to the present. We're all on our way to Akari's house right now, including Akane, who is one of the people who knows about her secret and is also concerned about my brother. I know they split up, but I'm curious if she still has feelings for him. We have two reasons to come, but wait! Make it three. For one thing, it's for Aqua's check-up. Two, it's to recruit her, which I hope she does. And three, we'll talk about how we're going to capture Hikaru.
Actually, before we agreed to travel to her place, we agreed to include Miyako and Mem-Cho in our plans. Aqua at first against it, but because Miyako and Mem-Cho pushed and said they wouldn't let him go unless he brought them with him, he had no choice but to accept. We decided to ask Akari whether everything was okay, and we were surprised when she answered...
"Hehe, sure! I'll go make food when you arrive; if you guys trust them this much to bring them, then why not?"
Haaa... I'm not sure why Akari trusts us so much, but I'm actually rather pleased to have someone trust you so much. But we chose not to tell Miyako and Mem-Cho and instead let Akari tell them her secret. We simply told them about the Grim Reaper's group and that Akari is a member of an organization that works to stop them. Miyako was furious that we had put ourselves in such danger, but when she saw our expressions, she decided she would help.
Of course, having too many people on your side is problematic, but Akari advised us that having Miyako as the head of the famous Strawberry Productions will undoubtedly benefit our future plans. Also, Mem-Cho's popularity on You*ube will be beneficial. After some thought, we concluded that it is best to tell them. Mem-Cho was taken aback at first, but she rapidly came to cope with it.
And now we're all very excited to see Akari! Oh, and Miyako and Mem-Cho are unaware that she is a famous music composer on You*ube and that she has a baby. Oh, I can't wait to see her baby Ai again!
__________
Location: Akari's House
"We're here!" I shouted as we all reach the front gate of the house.
Aqua approaches the front gate and uses a small intercom device on the side to speak, "Good morning, Akari. It's Aqua. We're here."
Akari's voice comes through the intercom, "[Oh, Aqua! Please come inside!]"
The door swings open automatically, leaving all of us in awe.
"I didn't know it had that feature..." Aqua expressed his surprise.
"I suppose that's the power of modern technology," Kana shrugged, stepping inside.
As they all entered Akari's front yard, Miyako marveled at the spaciousness of her house. "Wow, it's quite large for someone who lives alone," she remarked, impressed.
"Oh, she doesn't kn-," Akane realizes and glances at Aqua, conveying her message nonverbally: "You didn't tell her?!"
Aqua was looking aside to avoid being scolded by Akane, which was quite amusing to see.
I was excited to see Akari and baby Ai again as we approached the front door. While waiting for the door to open, I could hear footsteps on the other side.
Akari opens the door and greets us with a warm, radiant smile, "Good morning, everyone! Welcome to my humble abode!"
Miyako stutters as she finds herself mesmerized by Akari's beauty, "G-Good morning to you as well, um..."
"Just call me Akari," Akari says with a warm smile, slightly bowing to show respect as she welcomes us inside.
Miyako couldn't help but be captivated by Akari's bright aura, as it reminded her of Ai before.
Akari welcomes us and invites us to sit down on her couch.
While we were all seated, Akari went to the kitchen to grab us some food and drinks. We were just looking about while waiting when Miyako gasped loudly.
Miyako's shock grew as she exclaimed, "This couch is made by Homiko Corps!"
Kana's shock was evident as she hurriedly questioned, "Homiko?! Are you saying Akari has a Homiko couch?!"
What are they talking about? I don't get it.
Mem-Cho raised her hand timidly and inquired, "Um, what exactly do you mean by 'Homiko'?"
As soon as Mem-Cho stated that, I, Aqua, and Akane began to look puzzled.
Kana exclaimed in surprise, "You guys don't know about Homiko?!"
We all shake our heads.
Miyako sighed and explained, "Homiko is a renowned company in Japan that specializes in producing high-quality furniture. Their products are known for their exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail. However, they also come with a hefty price tag due to their exceptional quality."
"Oh, how come I never knew?" I thought.
"It's because all of your heads are too focused on your work!" Kana responds.
I turned my gaze towards Kana and curiously asked, "What about you? How did you come to know about Homiko?"
Kana proudly scoffed and responded, "Since I live on my own, I had to furnish my apartment, and I even got a Homiko bed!"
I still didn't know how much Himeko was worth, so I just said, "Uh huh..."
Kana exclaimed, "You guys are really clueless about Homiko!"
Akane wondered and turned to Miyako, asking, "By the way, how much does this couch cost?"
"Around 716,707 yen," Miyako replied.
Everyone else shouted, "716,707 yen?!" *Around 5000 Dollars*
Miyako started pointing at every piece of furniture in the living room. "Though the house outside looks normal, almost everything in here, from the tables to the TV and cabinets, they are all from Homiko. If I have to take a guess, each one of them must cost at least more than 143,341 yen." *1000 Dollars*
Everyone was shocked, and I couldn't help but touch the couch again. "That's why it feels so soft and comfy," I said, marveling at its quality. "She must be very wealthy."
Well she is a famous You*ber after all.
Kana looks at Aqua and inquires, "Do you have any information about Akari?"
Aqua replies, "Akane and I have been researching for the past few days, but all we know is that she is a normal teenager who recently transferred from America. We suspect that her wealth might be connected to her previous work with a secret agency."
I could see Aqua is saying this to keep Akari's secret.
"I see, that would explain it," Miyako responds.
Mem-Cho marvels at the furniture and ponders, "I can't believe she invested in all of this! But why would she need such extravagant items?"
I would even buy these if I have a lot of money Mem-Cho. *Ruby forgets she is rich*
"Well, it's because of it's durability of course."
We all flinched as we turned around to see Akari carrying a large bag of snacks and drinks. We hope she didn't hear us, but based on her reaction, we believe she did.
As Akari placed the snacks on the table, she explained, "As you know, I have been involved with the secret organization and that's where my income comes from. Although I'm not currently working there, I saved enough money to move to Japan and start a new life here. I also have other sources of income, such as my presence on platforms like You*ube."
"(Well, they are now my source of income since I cut ties with my father)", Akari pov.
Mem-Cho gets curious and asks, "Are you a You*uber?!"
Akari smiles and replies, "Um, yes."
Ahh! I just remembered! We didn't tell Miyako and Mem-Cho that Akari has a child and that she is light music!
Akari pov, "(They didn't tell her?)"
Akari continues, "Well, I also like Homiko's furniture since they're nice and won't break easily. Not only that, they have these things that make the furniture baby-friendly."
Kana pov, "(Oh no!)"
Aqua pov, "(Does Akari want to keep it a secret, or not?)"
Mem-Cho asks, "Baby-friendly? What do you mean?"
I interrupted, "Well, enough about that. Let's focus on the main reason why we're here today! Hehe..."
As Akari took a seat, she asked, "Main reason?"
Akane chimed in, "Y-Yeah! Ruby and Miyako have something they want to discuss with you!"
Akari grew curious and asked, "What is it that Ruby and Miyako want to discuss with me?"
Miyako receives a paper in her bag. "Before we begin, I'd like to thank you for saving Aqua; you truly have my gratitude. Though I have some doubts about you, hearing how much they trust you leaves me with no choice but to trust you as well."
After hearing such remarks, Akari smiled.
Miyako fixed her gaze on Akari and made a serious request, "We would like to invite you to join B-Komachi."
I exclaimed with excitement, "Yes! We're looking for someone to replace Kana as our third member, and we believe you're the perfect fit for the role!"
Miyako turned to Ruby and reminded her, "Remember, Ruby, I mentioned that I would consider recruiting her if her skills are up to par."
But she is literally Light Music! Oh yeah, Miyako doesn't know yet.
I look at Miyako and said, "Umm, but she is-"
"I'm honored to be given the opportunity to join B-Komachi, but I must inform you that my current situation could potentially jeopardize the group's career and put your agency in a difficult position," Akari said, her gaze slightly lowered.
Miyako looked confused and asked, "Why?"
I quickly approached Akari and whispered, "Wait a minute! Are you sure you want to tell Miyako too? What if she decides not to let you join because of it?" I looked genuinely concerned.
What shocked me next was Akari's calm smile as she whispered back, "She knew about your mother's secret, didn't she? And not only that, she even took you in and protected you, despite the risks. I believe she is someone who deserves to know. Mem-Cho can know too. I trust the people you trust."
When I heard those words, I began to recall Miyako's caring for us and her acceptance of Mama.
Akari, you are truly amazing. I admire your ability to trust people so easily. You don't blindly trust someone for no reason, thus I know your trust originates from your heart. Nonetheless, here I am... I'm still unsure whether I should trust people.
Akari looked at Miyako and Mem-Cho with a serious expression and revealed, "I'm about to share an important secret with you both. I trust you with this information. The truth is, I am already a mother."
Miyako was taken aback by the revelation, her eyes widening in surprise. "You're a mother?" she exclaimed, unable to hide her astonishment.
Mem-Cho looked at us, puzzled and shocked. And all we did was smile nervously.
"Waaaaa!"
Wait, is that Ai crying?
Akari was startled and looked at Miyako, saying, "Please, wait a moment," before hurrying upstairs to see Ai.
Miyako observed our expressions and deduced, "Judging by your reactions, it seems that you all already knew about this."
Aqua attempted to explain, "We understand that we promised to share everything with you, but this particular secret is something Akari holds dear and considers highly important. It's a matter of trust and respecting her wishes."
After observing the emotions in Aqua's eyes, Miyako sighed, "Alright, I will set aside the fact that she has a child. However, I will still evaluate her based on her skills and personality before making a final decision about recruiting her."
Mem-Cho expressed her shock, "I can't believe I never knew about this!"
I apologized, "I'm sorry, Mem-Cho. I wanted to tell you since you're one of my closest friends, but this secret is something we can't share openly with others."
Mem-Cho sighs and pats Ruby's head, saying, "Alright, alright. Hearing that secret does make it understandable why you guys wanted to hide it."
Miyako pov, "(Akari, really reminds me of when Ai got pregnant at such a young age. *Sigh*)"
I stammered, realizing something, "Well, don't be shocked by the name, hehe..."
Miyako and Mem-Cho looked at me with confusion, asking, "What do you mean?"
Akari then arrived, cradling baby Ai in her arms. She had a mix of awkwardness and joy on her face as she sat down and said, "Um, this is my baby girl, her name is Ai."
Miyako and Mem-Cho both exclaimed, "Ai?!"
__________
/Ai Pov/
AHHHHHHHHHHH!
They've arrived! Is Aqua safe? What will they be discussing? Who are the two new members of the group? I definitely want to see them downstairs!
But... I'm surprised Akari is comfortable discussing such sensitive information with them. I know she isn't stupid, but isn't it risky? To preserve my career and my children, I have to hide it so much. She isn't even an idol, but I wish she was, so if she does become one, I hope she keeps her secrets a little more hidden from others. There are already six people who know, as a result she is in big trouble-
As I pondered over Akari's situation, a sudden scream echoed from downstairs, a voice exclaiming, "Homiko?!"
That sounds like the red short-haired girl from before. Homiko? Isn't that a well-known furniture company? I'm curious what they're talking about downstairs. Oh, I'm dying to see them...
Wait, I KNOW! They already know of my existence so I guess this is alright...
"Waaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaa!"
Sorry Akari, but I want to see Aqua and Ruby so badly!
After a few seconds of crying, I noticed Akari approaching me with a troubled expression. It made me feel bad for causing her so much worry.
Gently cradling me in her arms, Akari whispered apologetically, "I'm sorry, it's my fault for not informing our guests about the baby sleeping. Sorry..."
Ahh, I should be the one sorry Akari, but thank you for your concer-!
Wait a minute! They didn't know about me?! Hold on! Hold on! Put me back down!
I cried a little to try to convince Akari to put me back, but she chose to bring me downstairs since she was worried about me.
Ugh! Let-Me-Go-Back-!
As I turned around, I saw them all, Ruby and Aqua especially happy to see me. It made me think for a moment that they knew who I was, but I knew they were only happy to see me, the Baby Ai. I noticed Miyako as I was relieved to see them.
M-Miyako...
I started crying even more.
Ruby panicked and exclaimed, "Oh no! Were we being too loud?"
Kana realized she had shouted too loudly and quickly apologized, "I'm so sorry, Akari! My loud voice must have woken her up... I feel really bad about it."
Akari quickly reassured Kana, "No, no, it's not your fault at all. I should have mentioned that Ai was asleep. Don't worry about it."
I was fake sleeping.
Miyako was startled and asked, "Ai? Why did you name her Ai?"
"Ahh, sorry if the name made you uncomfortable," Akari was nervous.
"Come on, anyone can name their child whatever they want, there's no problem with that, right?" Aqua interrupted.
Miyako quickly realized her mistake and apologized, "I'm sorry for asking such a question, Akari. It was inappropriate of me."
Wow... Miyako grew to still be a stunning beauty even after so many years. I'm curious if I'll still appear so young when I'm that age. When Akari was researching Aqua and Ruby, I discovered that Miyako looked after them. Thank you so much, Miyako.... but! I need to know why Boss left the company and split up with you!
Ruby went up to me and started making funny expressions to cheer me up, and it worked so well that I accidently smiled.
Ruby exclaimed with excitement, "Look, she's smiling! She's so cute!"
Mem-Cho joined in with excitement, "She's absolutely adorable! She must have inherited her beauty from her mother."
Akari blushed and thanked her for the praise.
Heh, no matter what life I'm reborn into, I'm always beautiful! Most of my features resemble Akari, and I believe she is more of an angel than I am. Ruby, in fact, resembles me almost perfectly, except for the color of her hair... Grrrrr! *Ai tried to imitate a lion*
After everything had calmed down, Akari began telling Miyako about me.
"Sorry, I know what I did was wrong, but...", Akari was going to explain when Miyako interrupted.
"It's alright, Akari. I understand. I know someone who was also in a similar situation. You don't have to explain any further," Miyako reassured with a warm smile.
M-Miyako... Hic! Boss, you really chose the right person!
Akari's gaze met mine, her eyes filled with concern. "(If I join, there's a risk that Ai might be in danger. Ever since I was young, I dreamt of becoming an idol, alongside her... But if I become one, I'll have to hide the truth, to safeguard Ai and my fellow members.)"
"I... If I do that, and my secret get's exposed, Ai would be in danger..."
Ruby hesitated for a moment, then continued, "Y-You can do both, you can just keep Ai a secret from the public. We can create a safe environment for her, and you can still pursue your dream as an idol-"
"Lies are the strongest shield of an idol... I-I can't do it, sorry," Akari's voice trembled as she expressed her inner conflict.
A-Akari... No... I noticed you compose music and listen to idol songs. I observed you having a great time sweeping and dancing to the music. I know you want to be an-!
"You want to be an idol, don't you?" Aqua's gaze locked with Akari's, his voice carrying a serious tone that caught her off guard.
Akane was confused by Aqua's sudden question. She looked at him, waiting for an explanation.
Aqua sighed, contemplating his words carefully. He looked at Akari with a mix of concern and admiration. "You're right, lies are often the strongest shield of an idol. But what struck me about you is that you chose not to rely on that shield. It made me wonder if you simply fear the consequences of lying or if you have plans to reveal your secrets to the world in the future."
Akari smiled slightly, her expression filled with determination. "I hate lying, and I refuse to deceive people. I've witnessed the consequences of walking that path, and it's not something I want for myself or my loved ones."
"Then don't lie!"
Akari looked at Aqua with a puzzled expression. "Huh? What do you mean?"
When Aqua's throat cleared, he replied, "What I mean is that, just lie for a while until you get famous so that no one would look down on you and think poorly of you when they find out your secrets."
Miyako was about to say something to Aqua, but he raised his hand, indicating for her to pause.
Akari looked at me, worried.
Akari pov, "(Lie until I am famous enough to protect myself, huh. Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be an idol. Singing on stage, hearing my fans sing along with me. That was my dream. And the problem is, it is still my dream now. That's why I made a channel to share my music, I would look through the internet and see people singing my songs all over the world. It made me happy, but...)"
I could see she was thinking about something. But I truly want her to be an idol since she appeared to enjoy it. Akari, please! Don't turn it down because of me! Please!
Then Akari remembered something from her past.
{It's okay to be greedy sometimes, you know?}
Akari pov, "(Pfft! That's what I used to say to her before, but looking at my baby, I just feel like I should do it. If I'm going to be an idol, I promise to do my best to help B-Komachi, protect Ai, and live my dreams.)"
Akari took a deep breath and spoke with conviction, "Lying only causes pain once the truth is revealed."
After thoughtful consideration, Miyako came to understand Akari's intentions and spoke, "If you choose to keep your secrets hidden and continue, I will support you. But if you decide to reveal them in the future, I won't stand in your way either."
Ruby interjected, "I may not fully grasp your perspective since lies are often necessary for idols to navigate the entertainment industry, but I do agree with one thing: lying does cause pain. If you choose to share your secrets in the future, I'll support it."
Ruby... Ahh! My baby girl is very awesome! But... the way she said it. She must have sensed the actual nature of the entertainment industry.
"I've only known you for a short time, but I can sense that revealing your secret could potentially endanger our group. However, based on what you and Ruby have shared, I believe you're a genuinely good person who will be loved by others. I would be happy to have you in our group, Akari," Mem-Cho smiled warmly.
Akari looked at Miyako with determination and said, "I will join, but I ask for your promise that if the time comes when I reveal this secret to the world and face backlash, please remove me from the group immediately to protect B-Komachi."
A-Akari!
Ruby, Mem-Cho, and Kana all had shocked expressions on their faces.
Miyako's expression softened as she nodded, "I promise, Akari. If that time ever comes, I will prioritize the well-being of B-Komachi."
Ruby's voice filled with concern as she interjected, "But Miyako, we won't let it come to that! We'll stand by Akari no matter what happens."
Miyako responds, "It's her wish, respect it."
Ruby fell silent, her expression reflecting a mix of emotions. She understood Miyako's point and the weight of Akari's decision, causing her initial objection to fade away.
Miyako shifted her gaze towards Akari, her eyes filled with determination. "Before we make it official, I need to assess your abilities and see if you require any training or guidance," she said firmly.
Kana raise her hand, "But Miyako, we didn't even train before being in the group."
Miyako defended herself and stammered, "T-The group was in a difficult position and we were desperate to find members, okay? Anyway, when are you available, Akari? So that you can come visit the studio."
"Um, we can do that now. I have my own studio, anyways," Akari replied.
Miyako and Mem-Cho exclaimed, "You have your own studio?!"
Akane giggles and remarks, "Their reactions are funny, hehe."
"I can't remember exactly, but I think we were quite surprised too," Aqua reflects with a sigh.
"Before we go, I should check Aqua's injury," Akari tells Miyako as she places me in my baby chair.
Why is Aqua not being checked into the hospital? I heard his injury was quite serious... I'm worried.
Miyako nods and says, "Oh, that's right. Aqua, please remove your shirt so Akari can examine your injury."
Aqua nods.
Kana blushes, "R-Remove, shirt?!"
Akane looks puzzled and asks, "Well, if Aqua keeps his shirt on, how can Akari see his injury? Is there a problem?"
Kana gets flustered and stammers, "N-No, there's no problem at all!"
Wait a minute, does this redhead have feelings for my son? Hmm...
I chuckled in my head.
Aqua takes off his shirt, exposing his wounds and physique.
Akane notices Aqua's well-built body and mumbles, "N-Now I understand what Kana meant..." She blushes, feeling flustered.
Mem-Cho noticed Akane mumbling and asks, "What did you say?"
Akane gets flustered and quickly responds, "Oh, nothing! Just a random thought, hehe."
W-Wait a minute! Is his ex-girlfriend still interested in him? This, however, is a problem.
Ruby watches Kana and Akane's responses and thinks to herself, "What's the point of Aqua removing his shirt? He looks like a log to me."
Miyako noticed Akari taking special care of Aqua and was impressed by her abilities, saying, "That looks complicated, how are you so good?"
"My uncle is actually a doctor," Akari responded, smiling, "and he would teach me every time I visited him."
Akari has an uncle? Wait a second... I'm dumb, of course people can have uncles too.
"Should your uncle visit, kindly inform me. I would love to express my gratitude to him for imparting valuable knowledge," Miyako smiles.
Akari joyfully responds, "Absolutely!"
Having completed the examination and treatment of Aqua's injury, Akari confidently declares, "All set! Now, we can proceed."
Just as we were about to head to Akari's music room, Ruby approached us and kindly offered, "I'll take care of Ai while you audition!"
Amused by Ruby's enthusiasm to hold Ai, Akari giggles and responds, "Hehe, alright. Just be careful, okay?"
With gentle care, Akari passes me into Ruby's arms. As Ruby holds me, her face lights up with sheer joy and happiness.
Kana gazes at us and playfully remarks, "I must admit, I'm feeling a tad envious."
Mem-Cho concurs, expressing a touch of wistfulness, "Indeed, I feel the same way... Hmph."
Akari then took us all to the music room, which left Miyako and Mem-Cho speechless.
Miyako admires Akari's room and pays her a compliment, saying, "Your room is truly amazing."
Akari responds with delight, saying, "Thank you!" She then proceeds to prepare the microphone and speakers.
Aqua approaches Akari and whispers, "Why not mention your Light Music? Once she knows, it'll make it much easier for you to pass."
Akari whispers back, her voice filled with a mischievous tone, "But wouldn't that be too easy? Hehe."
Aqua chuckles in response and then proceeds to join Miyako and the others, taking a seat among them.
Go Akari! You can do it!
Miyako pov, "(Akari's beauty is already good; she is about the same height as Ruby and her looks are captivating; now let's hear her voice because that's one of the most important aspects of being an idol.)"
Akari gazes at Miyako and inquires, "Which song do you think I should sing?"
Miyako responds with an encouraging smile, "You can choose any song you want."
Akari nods thoughtfully, contemplating her options, "(Which songs should I choose? Hmm...)"
Akari takes a deep breath and begins to perform a song she wrote called "As The Days Go By."
Miyako pov, "(Oh, she picked one of Light Music songs. Interesting...)"
Ruby pov, "(I remember listening to this song when it was released. It was an animated music video. This song was about a girl who just stays in the same house for all of her life. She stayed there and witnessed how everything started to change. She had a friend who used to live with her, but as the days went by, her friend left, got married, and went to live away, while the girl stayed behind.
And when they left, the girl would just sit on her porch and watch the seasons change. Until one day, her friend stopped paying her visits. She waited and waited for a letter to arrive. Her friend informed her that she had moved to another country and would no longer be able to visit. The music video concludes with the girl, who is now an elderly woman, finally leaving her house for the first time to find her friend.
I had so many questions about why the story was written the way it was. Why didn't the girl leave? And the question I'm most curious about is why the girl's friend never invited her to come with her? I remained confused by the meaning of the music video. But even if I didn't, I fell in love with it. I'm not sure why, but I just did. I am a tremendous fan of Light Music, and having the opportunity to hear her sing makes me the luckiest fan in the world!
I am really selfish, and asking the famous light music group to join our group is a bit excessive. However, the fact that she is currently singing proves that she has the potential to become a famous idol one day. It's self-serving, but I truly want her to be a part of our group. Please, Miyako, you know she's good enough!)"
Miyako pov, "(Is it just me, or does her voice sound so familiar?)"
When Akari had finished viewing, everyone began applauding for her.
Yeah! Good job Akari!
Aqua grins and addresses Miyako, "See? Isn't she talented?"
Miyako chuckles and adds, "Indeed, her voice is captivating. Now, let's find out if she can captivate us with her dance moves too."
Dance?!
Ruby exclaims in surprise, "Dance?! She still has to dance as well?!"
Ruby pov, "(I don't even know if Akari could dance...)"
Akari steps forward and suggests, "Alright, let's make our way to my dance studio."
Mem-Cho expresses surprise, exclaiming, "You have a dance studio?!"
Akari chuckles nervously and responds, "Hehe, yes..." She then proceeds to lead all of us to her dance studio.
Miyako sighs happily and remarks, "I've become immune to being surprised." She then turns to Akari and asks, "Do you happen to know any dances from B-Komachi?"
Akari replies with enthusiasm, "Yes, would you like me to dance to one of their songs?"
Miyako responds with excitement, "Yes, please do 'Sign *a B,' and try to convey the emotions as if you're in love with your fans, wanting them to smile and fall in love with you."
Akari pov, "(So I have to act...)"
Akari begins dancing and singing at the same time, attracting everyone's attention.
Miyako is taken aback, her expression filled with surprise. "Huh...," she mutters in astonishment.
Aqua pov, "(This is Akari right? Why do I see Ai...?)"
Ruby mumbles softly, almost to herself, "Mom...?"
Huh? Did I just hear Ruby say Mom?
I looked at Akari and was in awe.
Do they see me in her? My eyes are drawn to the way she dances and sings. It feels familiar, the way she dances... where? Where did I see that before? Where?!
Akari pov, "(I haven't danced in front of people in a long time; I hope I pass, because I want to... I want to stand on stage and sing for them, just like Ai!)"
Akari's dancing suddenly improves, showcasing a remarkable display of skill and grace. Her smile shines brighter, captivating everyone with her beauty, voice, and dancing abilities, leaving us all in awe.
She is so... beautiful.
As the songs come to an end, Akari gracefully comes to a stop and bows, showing her gratitude and appreciation.
Miyako rises from her seat and approaches Akari with a serious expression on her face. She asks, "Where did you learn to dance like that?"
Akari stammers, "I-I taught myself."
Miyako raises an eyebrow and questions, "There's only one person who could dance and sing with such captivating allure, directly capturing people's hearts, and that was Ai. Are you certain it was solely self-taught?"
Akari takes a deep breath, placing her hand on her chest, and looks into Miyako's eyes with utmost sincerity. She firmly asserts, "Yes, I assure you it was all self-taught."
Miyako observes the earnestness in Akari's eyes and a smile graces her face. She joyfully declares, "You're in! Welcome to B-Komachi." Miyako then steps aside, creating space for everyone else to congratulate and celebrate Akari's achievement.
"Huh?" Akari is taken aback by the unexpected announcement.
Ruby squeals with excitement, "Yay! Welcome to the group, Akari!"
Ahh! Ruby! Keep in mind that you are holding a baby!
Aqua approaches Akari with a warm smile and congratulates her, saying, "Congratulations, Akari."
Akari's face lights up with a radiant smile, and she responds, "Hehe, thank you!"
Mem-Cho, Kana, and Akane gather around Akari, offering their heartfelt congratulations as well. The group shares in the joyous moment, celebrating Akari's accomplishment together.
Aqua approaches Miyako and whispers, "You witnessed it too, didn't you?"
Miyako lets out a sigh and responds, "Yes, it appears we have discovered another prodigy."
Aqua chuckles and exclaims, "Now I'm even more excited to see how she'll shine on stage!"
Miyako smiles warmly and adds, "So am I... It's going to be incredible."
Akari approaches Miyako with a slightly nervous expression and says, "Um... There's something else I need to tell you."
Miyako looks at Akari with a curious expression and asks, "Hmm? What is it?"
5 minutes later...
"Huh?! Y-Your Light Music?!" Miyako exclaims, her voice filled with surprise.
Hehe, Akari has over 100k subscribers! So cool, right?
Mem-Cho screams in astonishment, "You're the You*uber with over 20 million subscribers?!"
Huh? Wait... huh?
Akari smiles and confirms, "Yes, that's me."
HUH?! A-Akari has over 20 million subscribers?! This person... IS A FAMOUS YOU*BER?!
Miyako lets out a sigh and remarks, "Now we have even more to talk about..."
Ruby exclaims with excitement, "Isn't it cool?! Our new member is the famous Light Music!"
As everyone engages in lively conversations about Akari joining as a new member and the plans to keep her secrets hidden, I notice Akari silently laughing to herself. Her amusement adds a touch of mystery to the air, leaving me curious about what thoughts are running through her mind.
She appears to be having a good time. Thank you, Akari, for making me happy.
Akari pov, "(I'm happy. Mother, look, I have more friends than before. I will become the idol that you guys wished for me to become. Mom, Hina, Ai, please keep an eye on me from above.)"
Ruby looks at me and asks, "Akari, what will your ending pose be?"
"M-Me? Umm..."
Ruby strikes a pose that resembles Ai's signature ending pose and proudly exclaims, "My ending pose is just like my mom's! See?"
Akari forces a smile and responds, "Hmm... I'll need to think about it, considering someone already copied my pose."
Ruby questions, "Who?"
Akari cheekily smiles and replies, "That's a secret!"
__________
Akari's Past Life
It was that day...
"Have you seen Ai?"
"No... I haven't seen her since this morning."
"Ahh ok... Thank you Nana! I'm going to go find Ai."
I kept looking for you...
"Be careful ok."
I run and search until I finally find you, sobbing behind our cherished tree.
"Ai? What's the matter?" I ask, concerned, as I approach you.
Ai begins to cry, hiccuping between sobs. "They said I'm terrible at dancing and started bullying me, hic."
"Those bullies!" I exclaim, feeling indignant. "You know what? Why don't I teach you how to dance, and then you can show them just how amazing you are!"
"R-Really? W-Will you really teach me?"
"Hehe, of course! But first stop crying and take my hand."
I extend my hand towards you, offering my support, and you graciously accept it, allowing me to be there for you.
"Let's start by doing some stretching to make your body more flexible," I suggest. "Then, we can begin moving our arms and legs, following my lead."
I taught you how to dance...
"You're a natural Akari!"
"Pfft! You're supposed to copy me, not just watch me, silly. We're going to be idols someday, so you need to learn how to dance like me," you playfully insist.
"But, I'm always so stiff when I dance," you express with a hint of self-doubt.
"Hmm... Ahh! I have an idea! How about I sing, and you dance along, okay?" I propose excitedly.
"H-Huh?!"
"I've noticed that you always move your fingers when I sing. Just feel the music inside you, and let it guide your movements. You'll be able to dance! And at the end, don't forget to do your signature pose!" I encourage you with a smile.
"A pose?"
"Yes, like mine."
I made a peace sign in both of my hands and put it above my head and faced it downwards.
"See? This is my ending pose."
"I-I don't know what pose to do..."
"Um, it's okay if you can't think of a pose right now! Let's first make your body start dancing!"
"O-Okay!"
As I begin singing, you give your best effort to dance, but I notice that you keep stumbling and falling. It catches my attention, and I realize something.
"Why do you appear as if you're preparing to fall, Ai?" I inquire, concerned by your continuous stumbles.
"Hic, I... I..." you hiccup, struggling to find the words to explain.
I move closer to you and extend a helping hand, assisting you in getting back on your feet.
"If you're scared of falling over, you'll just fall even more. Remember that," I say gently, offering words of encouragement.
"I... I will do my best!" you affirm with determination, ready to give it your all.
As I observe the determination in your eyes, I can't help but admire your resilience. The way you quickly adapt and strive to correct your mistakes is truly admirable, Ai.
"Good! Now then, let's try that move again!"
"Okay!"
We laughed, we danced, we helped one another. And that was the day, you finally learned how to dance.
"Thank you! Mentor Lila!" you teased.
"W-What?! Don't call me that!" I stammer in surprise, taken aback by the unexpected title.
"Haha! Your reaction is so funny. Thank you... for teaching me how to dance"
"That's what best friends do after all!"
As I witness your radiant and joyous smile that day, I couldn't help but wish for more time together, to continue sharing those precious moments.
If only I could've stayed longer...
I wished, I could see you again Ai...
Sorry...
Sorry!
Life definitely gave me karma.
I left your side too early, while you...
Left my side too early as well...
The world is too cruel.
Sorry Ai...
