Scoring the students' demonstrations was the easier part. Now you have to create a written final to test their understanding of summoning theory. Balancing the questions so that they're challenging without being too hard is tough. But you also have to deal with divination.
Information passes between dimensions, pushed on by the flow of pattern energy. That information doesn't always follow causality. It's possible to get information about events that might happen in the future.
Divination isn't easy or reliable. When it works, it shows multiple possibilities. The more singular the event, the more uncertain the information. No practitioner has ever won the lottery using it, and in one spectacular case, the practitioner who tried it came unstuck in time.
That doesn't stop students from trying it. They're helped by there being multiple copies of the same test. They don't care if they see their friend's test, or what grade they get. All they want to do is study the questions ahead of time.
