Freshman Year, Activity Fair
"…So remember, go east to reach West Hall," Denise says. "And that ends my tour of the quadrangle. Any questions?"
You've got lots, but as they're about magic, Denise can't really answer them. She doesn't know about Winfield Phillips's program in pattern magic.
No one else asks anything, so she continues, "Then I release you to the activities fair."

Organizations have set up tables along the quad. In an ideal world, the organizations would be grouped in logical ways. Instead, it's as if a giant dropped folding tables on the lawn like pickup sticks, and the organizations all shrugged and didn't move them.
The result is chaos. The ultimate Frisbee team set up on the chapel steps and is tossing discs at students who pass by. That puts the discs near the heads of the chapel choir, who are harmonizing with anyone who will join them. The juggling team has taken over the dead center of the quad and is trying, with little luck, to interest anyone in what they're offering. One of their members on a unicycle keeps riding way too close to the puppies that an animal shelter group brought.
"Go on," Denise urges you. "Talk to some of the groups."
