Will and Romilly stare at you. "You want us to bleed?" Will asks, incredulous. "Are you serious?"
"We can't deal with all of them," you say. "We need to at least get some of them back to sanity. Got another way of doing it?"
There's silence from the others. Apparently, nobody does.
In the quiet, Michelle steps forward, holding out a knife. "If you're going to do this, you'd best hurry it up. Yes or no?"
You look at the knife, but before you can reach out for it, Romilly has stepped forward, grasping the knife and running it over her forearm. Blood starts to spill out from the red line that she's scored over it. With a wince, she passes the knife to Will.
Once blood is flowing from all of your arms, and Sonia and Val are looking covetously at the wounds, you turn towards the door, pushing through it and out into the night.
As you move into the cold darkness, you see the ranks of students standing before you. Before you can take another step, before you can even take in any details, the students have lunged forward at you.
