So," Matron says, casting a grim glance over the words that they've just read. "She has gone around the twist. I must confess, I thought it would only be a matter of time. This, however…." They shake their head.
"What are we going to do?" Max demands. He's sitting by Fritz, who has finally had the remains of his arm bandaged up.
"Do?" Matron asks. "What has changed? We are going to stop the demon; we are going to close the pit to hell." They gesture at a pile of disassembled machinery, as well a kaleidoscope of different chemicals, that are sat in front of them. "I am creating you the means to do that right now; you will use it to save the world, no matter how many vice principals stand between you and that goal."
The large werewolf lets out a hollow laugh. "Save the world? This is Lady Rastan we're up against. We're supposed to beat her?"
You step forward, moving between Matron and Max, looking around at the others.
