It's not long before you find the headmaster's office: an entranceway of two large oaken doors, upon which sits a brass plate reading, "KNOCK AND WAIT."
You glance at Sonia and Val. "Anyone at home?"
Both vampire girls nod. "I can feel something," Val says, frowning slightly. "There's blood and a heartbeat, but…it's strange. The thoughts are…I've not felt a mind like it before."
"I've not felt anything like that before," Sonia says. "It's like there's something else thinking for him." She glances at you, the trepidation clear in her eyes. "Something not human."
There's a long pause. It seems as though your group would have been rather happier if the vampires had kept that last sentiment to themselves.
"Well," you say once it becomes clear that no one else is about to speak, "we need to get in."
That seems obvious enough. The only question left to answer is how you're going to do it.
