The zombie grins. "I'll try to keep us away from any assault courses, then. Not that I tend to start the day with them anyway."
After a quick shower and a change of clothes, you feel a little more capable of following Michelle towards whatever surprises breakfast has in store.
"Any preferences on route?" she asks as you fall into step beside her. "Quick? Scenic? Reflective?"
"Reflective it is," Michelle announces, setting off along the corridor. You follow, doing your best not to stumble. The shower's helped, but you're about three cups of coffee away from your best.
Michelle is nice enough to keep the pace slow, clearly mindful of your less-than-stellar condition. Even so, it's not the easiest morning's walk that you've ever had.
"So," you say after a while, "what makes this the reflective route?"
"Well," Michelle says, "whenever I walk it, I tend to be quite reflective. Only this time, I have this person walking next to me, asking me questions."
"That's got to be irritating."
You turn a corner and head down a flight of stairs, bringing you into a corridor that you recognize from the previous night. It's the same one that Lady Rastan brought you to when you first arrived: the corridor where your aunt's office is.
As you walk past the large doors, they open, and Aunt Cavalcade peers out into the corridor over her large spectacles.
"Ah, Michelle," she says, "and Kan. Good morning to the pair of you. I trust that your time here so far has been pleasant and without any major incident?"
