One: The Road Less Traveled
"Hey, you!"
You turn, looking across the road at the young man staring back at you. It doesn't seem like he wants to ask you an innocent question. There's nobody else around: it's just the two of you on an otherwise-empty street, with only a road between you.
He doesn't wait for you to reply, but instead strides unsteadily across the road towards you. As he gets closer, you can smell the beer on his breath.
"What are you doing out here, then?" he demands. He's a little taller than you, though you'd guess he's around your age, and he tries to use that height to tower over you. He gestures at your Cavalcade Academy uniform. "You one of them freaks from the undead school, then? Think you're just going to walk around and eat normal people?"
He gives you a shove, and you manage—barely—to keep your balance. But he isn't going to stop with just one push. One way or another, you're going to have to deal with him.
