" How did your talk with him go" Jane asked Julia as she came out.
" It went okay" Julia said as she made to walk past her but Jane blocked her.
" What do you mean by okay. Is he reconsidering us" Jane asked.
" Somehow" Julia answered, not in the mood to talk right now.
" I don't know what was wrong with you today but you seem to have annoyed the CEO. I hope you know that the company is depending on you and since you are the one who brought the idea, you should ensure it does not flop" Jane said.
" I know that" Julia said as she finally walked out.
Jane entered the car that they had used to come.
" Get in. We don't have all day" Jane said when Julia was not entering.
" I am going to walk so you can go on your own" Julia said.
" Well, that is your business" Jane said as she drove off.
The distance between Nicholas' s company and Julia's own was not so far apart but it wasn't so near either.
