"Who knew this place still existed" Nicholas said to Chad. They were currently at the club that Chad had established the last time he visited home.
" Stop talking as if you didn't know. I can keep a business running for at least a year" Chad said defensively.
" Congratulations on your greatest achievement then" Nicholas said mocking him.
"Really funny. Now, can you tell me why a newly married man is calling his friend out in the middle of the night for drinks." Chad asked not taking Nicholas jab to heart. He was sure he had accomplished a lot as a special force officer and physical achievements were not the only thing that mattered. Besides, he had enough money that could last for even his two time descendants. Special forces paid a lot.
" Don't over exaggerate. It is barely even night time" Nicholas said to Chad.
" The time of the day really does not matter" Chad said as if he was not the one who brought up the time
