As I waited to accept the offer and have the dungeon gammas killed as I had stated, Rickie unsheathed his sword and held it out for me. However, the cry of the door interrupted him. From the largest door to the smallest, its locks yanked and creaked.
My eyes widened in shock. What a miracle I got to witness today.
Rickie put his sword away and took three steps backward. He had erred in thinking that the dungeon gammas had failed, and I had erred in killing them for reporting the chaos that occurred inside the dungeon without proof.
But the doors were opened.
