(LANA)
One thing I have realized over the course of my life is that I will never arrive at a place where I can find peace. Even the dead have a way of imposing burdens on me, causing as much mental anguish as they possibly can, and leaving me with no other option but to reflect on my predicament.
I awoke from the terrifying dream gasping for air and even fanning myself with my right hand because the temperature had suddenly increased everywhere, and I was sweating heavily.
If the dead didn't have a way of seeing the living from the castles in Hades, then my grandmother wouldn't have known that I lost the waistband, and she wouldn't have cautioned me the way she did.
"What? You have absolutely no idea where you put your waistband, do you? Didn't you promise you wouldn't take it off under any circumstances? You need to go and get it. Now!"
My mind kept replaying her voice over and over again.
