The administrator crumbled the piece of paper in his fist and hurled it at the CFO. It hit his chest with a dull thud.
"Hey!" the CFO shouted, scrambling to pick it up. "You didn't have to do that!" His voice cracked with indignation, though his hands shook as he unfolded the paper.
The administrator leaned over his desk, seething. "What was going through your mind when you ordered that added to the T&C?" His voice sliced through the air, sharp with frustration.
The CFO glanced at the crumpled paper and back up at him, blinking. "I don't know what you're talking about!" He skimmed the contents of the paper, his face tightening as realization hit. "Oh, this? One of the government officials told me to add it. Ordered, actually."
"Who?" The word left the administrator's mouth like a whip.
"I don't know—the order came from high up." The CFO's eyes darted nervously around the room, as if seeking an escape route.
