But the more he read the "evidence", the more his smile faded; the sources that he had been given didn't even present any evidence against the Empire Bank and were merely just speculation and rumours that got in the newspaper.
"Devlin… Did the Empire Bank really try to censor this news?" He asked. Looking at all of the rumours in the newspaper, there was no reason for the Empire Bank to panic over such baseless claims.
There was one part of the newspaper that claimed that the Empire Bank had been secretly taking a bit of money out of the customer's accounts without them realizing it, and all the other newspapers that spread the rumours also shared similar rumours.
However, no matter how many times the kingdoms tried to investigate the matter, there was really no conclusive evidence.
