"We're here," Peyton muttered as the bridge finally came into view, its entrance blocked by a cluster of guards.
George's heart sank at the sight. His confidence wavered instantly as he scanned the formidable line of guards. 'How are we supposed to get through that?'
Peyton glanced at him. "So? Got any brilliant ideas to cross that?"
George shook his head, biting his lip. "There's got to be another way. Something more... possible."
Peyton gave him a flat look, shaking his head. "This is the only way, George. There's no going around it."
Akshar, silent until now, stepped closer to the edge of the bridge, leaning over to inspect the structure below. His eyes narrowed as he studied the interconnected piers under the bridge. After a moment, he straightened up, pointing. "There we can climb there. Can we climb there?"
Peyton snorted, folding his arms. "That's a terrible idea."
"Got a better one?" Akshar countered.
