Pov: Zane
.
Felt: "Who are you guys talking to?"
Zane: "Not important!"
Subaru: "But this is! Puck Freeze her!"
With a swift wave of his paw, dozens of ice spikes appear all over the room with one target in range.
Puck: "Well since everyone's saying it, The names Puck now Die!"
All the spikes flew quickly hitting their target and causing a dust cloud to form. Yet to me, it looked like she took the hit on purpose.
Felt: "Did they get here?"
Subaru: "Not even close"
As the dust cleared, It appeared that her cloak had taken the hit for her causing it to dissipate into particles. 'Magic resistance cloak with one use huh? Interesting~'
Elsa: "One should always be prepared"
Elf: "And you shouldn't underestimate a spirit-arts user!"
The girl formed an ice shield as Puck continued firing ice spikes at Elsa who dodged with simple backflips.
Puck: "For a girl, you're quite accustomed to battle"
Elsa: "It's been a while since I've been regarded as a simple girl."
Puck: "Well from my perspective, everyone's basically a baby. Still, you're strong, I almost pity you"
Man, she's pretty nimble. The way she dodged those spikes with a mix of backflips and cartwheels while also being strong enough to slice through ice 6 inches thick is nothing to sneeze at. Not to mention her speed is quick enough for her to run on the walls!
Zane: "This is cool and all, but this isn't gonna last long"
Felt: "What do you mean? That cat's kicking her ass!"
Subaru: "No he's right, most spirits have a time limit"
Zane: "And she knows that. Why else do you think she's been dodging this whole time?"
Subaru & Zane: "She's playing with them"
Elsa: "Ara~ looks like my plans have been thrown into the open~"
Puck: "Be that as it may, sometimes everyone has a backup plan"
Elsa dodges another ice spike before noticing her foot is trapped in the ice causing her to sigh.
Elsa: "Oh boo~ It appears I've been had"
Puck: "Oy~a~su~mi"
Combining the other ice spikes puck aims the massive ice spike and blasts it toward Elsa, It looked like she was done for but I know when someone likes to play rabbit. Jumping from the ice Elsa dogges Puck's attack while tearing the skin off her leg in the process.
Elsa: "You missed~"
Puck: "And here I thought people couldn't get more annoying . . . Yawn* Tired . . . Sorry lia . . . I underestimated her a bit . . . My mana's gone, so I'm going to sleep"
Elf: "I'll take care of the rest here, so you can rest. Thank you"
With that Puck vanishes into his crystal. . . Finally, a chance to cut loose ~

(Pov: 3rd)

Elsa: "Well as fun as it was time to die~"
Quickly rushing toward the elf girl Elsa brings her dagger up about to cut the elf in half. Or she was until Subaru pulled her to his side with his chain letting Zane block the blade with the great sword from earlier with a large grin.
Zane: "Sorry to Cut in~ But it's not very Knife to interrupt someone's goodbyes~"
Elsa: "Ara Ara~ I knew you were Sharper than the rest~ And just when I thought this night was getting Dull~"
Subaru: "Both of those were terrible!"
Zane: "Man, people just don't understand comedy"
Elsa: "Truly a shame~"
Jumping back the duo's eyes meet with Sapphire blue to Amethyst Purple. they knew that the other was Dangerous . . . And their smiles showed just how fun this fight would be~
While the others are watching the two fighting Subaru grabs Felt which catches her attention.
Subaru: "Felt while Zane distracts Elsa you run and get help"
Felt: "What are you talking about I can't just-"
Subaru: "Shut it and listen! There will be a man with red hair walking around somewhere in the slums just run and try to find them by screaming for help"
Felt: "But what if he doesn't follow me?"
Subaru: "Just tell him Subaru needs your help. Now go!"
With a hesitant nod, Felt stands up and runs for the door. Elsa seeing this launches a kick at Zane's stomach making him block with the flat of his sword, however the force of the kick throws him across the loot house allowing her to run at Felt with a smirk.
Elsa: "Oh trying to run are we~"
Elsa quickly jumps back as Old Man Rom slams a giant club on her previous spot before she backflips over some icicles the elf fired.
Rom: "Did you forget about us!?"
Elsa: "With the boy in blue here I honestly did"
Elsa Quickly brings both of her daggers up to block an overhead slash from Zane who grins down at her.
Zane: "Thanks for the compliment!"
Using her daggers as a platform Zane backflips away from her slash and lands near Subaru just as old man Rom slams his club into the spot where the assassin is standing as she jumps back and begins to fight with From.
Zane: "How are you holding up Sub?"
Subaru: "Fine just wish I could do something other than stay with her main target. Damnit! I wish we brought our main weapons"
Zane: "We were just going for a quick trip to the store we didn't know, but don't worry about it, this fight's gonna end soon~"
*Slice!*
Looking over the two spots Elsa slices Rom across the chest and kicks him to the elf girl who covers her mouth in horror as blood gushes from his wound.
Zane: "And that's my queue, later!"
Subaru brings Rom over with a simple pull of his chain allowing him to see the large gash in Rom's chest that's causing blood to puddle around them.
Subaru: "Shit! Medic!"
The elf quickly rushes over as she begins to heal Rom and looks at Subaru with a concerned gaze.
Elf: "Is your friend going to be okay?"
Subaru: "One. He's my brother. Two. Yeah, he'll be fine we used to fight crazier shit back home. What I'm more worried about is what he's wielding"
The two look over to the two blurs as they continue their blade dance, causing sparks and parts of the building to fly everywhere.

Zane: "I can keep this up all day! "
Elsa: "Oh I can tell~ however, there's one thing you can't keep up with~"
Zane: "And what's that?"
Zane looks at her with a questioning gaze before it shifts to one of shock as they clash causing his sword to snap in two sending the blade bit into the wall.
Zane: "Oh Shit!"
Elsa: "Game, Set, Match~" With a quick lunge, Elsa swings her blades at Zane who begins dodging in rapid succession.
Zane: "Not Good! Not Good! Not Good!"
Dropping to the ground Zane spins on his hands to use the steel soles of his boots to clash with Elsa's blades before kicking her back and jumping to his feet.

Elsa: "Well that's a new one~"
Zane: "Thanks! I knew those dance classes would come in handy. Anyway sorry to say but this is where we part ways~"
Elsa: "Oh~ And what makes you so sure?"
Zane: "Because our backup has arrived~"
Snaping his figures Zane jumps back as someone with crimson red hair breaks through the roof of the house and lands in the open space between them with the moonlight shining down dramatically on them.
???: "Apologies for my late interference but I'm glad I made it in time"
Elsa: "You're..."
???: "Shall we put an end to this?"
Subaru: "Good to know you showed up Reinhardt"
Reinhard: "Again sorry if I was late You never specified which house it was"
Subaru: "Actually you got here right on time"
Zane: "I can feel the power radiating from this guy. Geez bro I didn't think you'd find someone this Overpowered"
Reinhard: "Apologies I don't think I got your name"
Zane: "Nice to meet ya! Names Zane"
Reinhard: "Well it's nice to meet Zane. I wish we could meet on better terms but for now, stand back you two I'll deal with her."
Turning to Elsa Reinhard's eyes gain a serious glint to them while Subaru and Zane back up to the elf who was now healing Rom's smaller injuries.
Reinhard: "Black hair, black hair, and a blade unique to the northern provinces. There is no mistaking those characteristics. You are the Bowel Hunter"
Zane: "Not gonna lie pretty cool name. It reminds me of a serial killer named Jack the Ripper back home"
Reinhard: "I don't know of this Jack the Ripper, but her name is derived from her unique killing style. Her name is known even in the capital as that of a dangerous individual"
Elsa: "Reinhard. . . Yes, a knight among knights born to a line of master swordsmen, correct? How remarkable, having all my opponents be so much fun. but I hate it when people disrupt me during my meal"
The last part came out in a dark tone, as her killing intent was focused on Zane who shrugged with a smile.
Zane: "Sorry honey~ I'll play with you when I get a weapon that doesn't break during our fun~"
Elsa: "And you expect me to just give up prey that eager to play with their hunter? This isn't something I'll simply give up!"
Reinhard's eyes widen as Elsa rushes at him while swinging her blades violently against Reinherd who dodges each attack with ease before parrying her with a swift kick that generates a shockwave pushing her back only for her to rush him again.
Reinhard: "I'm afraid your meal won't be served to you in this lifetime"
Picking up a sword off the ground, Reinhard held onto it tightly while it started to glow blue as he got into a stance and cut one of her blades in half.
Reinhard: "If you've lost your weapon, I strongly suggest you surrender"
Throwing the cut blade past Elsa's head, she drops her weapon and rushes toward him while pulling a second blade which Reinhard easily dodges yet again.
Elsa: "A true hunter doesn't have a mere two fangs"
Pulling out another weapon, she smiled at all of them. Even like this, she knew that she had a very slim chance to win against Reinhard, even more so if Zane joined in since he found another great sword and was now twirling it in boredom.
Reinhard: "If I divest you of all your weapons, will you surrender?"
Elsa: "If I lose my fangs, I'll use my claws. If I lose my claws, I'll use my bones. And if I lose my bones, I'll use my life!"
She shouts before starting to move from wall to wall at an incredible speed while attacking Reinhard, who parries it easily.

Pov: Zane
.
Man, this is so boring I finally find someone who's fun to fight and I have to be held back by these basic steel blades and civilians. Man, what is wrong with my eyes? they itch like crazy.
Elf: "That is how the Bowl Hunter fights"
I turn to look at the Elf as she's still healing Rom. Geez how deep was that cut?
Subaru: "I can tell Reinhard is super powerful but why is he holding back so much? He's not even enjoying this"
Elf: "Because I'm using mana to heal this man"
Subaru: "More detail please?"
Elf: "Right sorry. If Reinhard were truly intent on fighting, all mana in the atmosphere would turn to him. I'm almost done healing this man however so just give me a bit more time this cut was worse than it looked"
Ugh! Rubbing my eyes again I slowly open them only to look around in surprise as I can see different colored fogs floating around the area I look at. What the Fuck is happening? My thoughts were cut off as the elf shouted out to Reinhardt.
Elf: "I'm done! Do It!"
Turning to Reinhard I watch as the fogs all begin to swirl around his sword rapidly as a visible blue aura begins to surround him.
Elsa: "What is this?"
Reinhard: "This is the swordplay of the Astrea family"
The glowing blade started to glow even more intensely as a strong wave of mana was absorbed into the sword causing my sight to begin glitching out as cracks filled my vision.

Pov:3rd

Then, the next moment, as if everything went white, both of them struck each other as an explosion occurred which almost destroyed the loot house and sent everyone away from the impact.
Subaru, who had just opened his eyes after the impact, looked around in shock as he saw that almost everything in the building was gone from only a single strike.
Subaru: "What the hell. That was like one of our trainer's attacks huh Zane? . . Zane?"
Looking over to his brother Subarus's face falls to horror as he spots Zane lying on his side next to him with a black inky fluid leaking from the hollow and smoking eye sockets.
Subaru: "OH SHIT!"
Subaru quickly rushed to his body he put a hand on his chest but couldn't feel a heat beat Subaru was about to panic but he calmed down a bit after he spotted Zane's chest rising and falling is a steady pace of breathing.
Subaru: "Shit dude. This is gonna be hard to explain to Mom"
Turning to the sound of footsteps Subaru turns to see Reinhard and the Elf girl walk over both with looks of shock as they spot the state Zane is in.
Reinhard: "I'm sorry I-"
Subaru: "It wasn't your fault. Something was going on with his eyes before you launched that attack. This isn't your fault rein"
With a sigh, Reinhard nods as the Elf reaches to check on Zane's eye sockets only to pull her hand back as his body begins to glow catching the attention of the other two.
Subaru: "What now?"
Zane's body begins to glitch before shattering like broken glass that floats into the air and dissipates leaving a black and gold box with glass on all sides that are covered in glowing runes that gently flash with the sound of a heartbeat while a note is attached to its side in language subaru is all too familiar with.

Elf: "What does it say?"
Subaru: "It's a note from our mom. Whenever Zane is hurt badly he'll shatter like glass and revert to this cube to heal."
Reinhard: "So he will be okay"
Subaru: "Apparently"
Elf: "So was he a spirit?"
Subaru: "I don't know actually. Our family has always been super weird but this is the first time we've had to figure out the weirdness without our mother to guide us"
Reinhard: "Well in any case Lady Felt and I will escort you both to a safe pace"
Subaru: 'Lady Felt? What the hell happened out there?'
Elf: "I actually know a place we could go"
As the two begin talking Subaru glances at the Box in his hands before sighing and putting it in his pocket.
Subaru: 'Looks like our adventure here is getting more complicated than it should. Hope you're recovering well bro'

Pov: Zane
.
Ugh, my head what the hell happened? Opening my eyes I see a large stone room with a massive floating crystal in the center. Looking around I walk up to the open windows and look out in awe at the sunlight illuminating this place.

.
"Cool~," I say with a smile loving the breathless display before tuning to the crystal that begins to pulse before changing color to an angry red.
With slight hesitant steps, I walk over to the crystal I slowly place my hand on it causing it to glow brighter, and watch as a red fog flows out of the crystal and up my arm causing my eyes to glaze over as sensations read by an unknown language floods my Head.

As I regain control of my body I shake my head before looking at my hands in shock as an orange Magic circle with a small flickering flame gently floating over it.
