Kite was completely oblivious to Obellion's mocking due to being stuck in his arrogance.
Klein slightly smiled and chuckled, "Well lord Kite, this loyal one greets you."
Kite's eyes slightly raised after hearing this.
"Y-yes! I see your loyalty to your lord, you are indeed a minion who may be a general in my rankings one day."
Klein amused Kite's action as he believed there was something wrong with his brain.
Obellion sighed, she didn't know what was worse, the fact Kite was acting like that or the fact Klein was entertaining it.
"Well, you two I will be headed up to see what's taking my father so long in the bath."
Kite almost jumped at those words. His first minion in this world was about to see his father in such a horrible way because of him.
"Ahahahabah, I think we should head outside first Klein, I'll bring you a drink, I have some things...to say to you!"
Klein gently slid the invitation off.
"I would be delighted to hear what you have to say Kite, but I feel dirty and want a bath"
Klein walked past the panicking Kite who was running a list of different distractions to cause.
'DAMNED disobedient minion! How dare you reject an invitation to do anything from me!'
'And to top of it off! He didn't even say, Lord Kite!'
'Maybe you deserve to see my "Art" as a punishment!'
'Yeah...that's right...'
Kite started to smile as Klein walked up the stairs.
"So now miss. Are you a ghost of some type?"
Obellion's eyes shined with interest.
"I'm telling you, that's not my true form!"
Obellion still refused to believe Kite's "lies" after watching him transform for herself.
"Why do you need to lie, your secret is ok with me!"
Obellion gave him a reassuring stare that seemed to be begging him to admit the "truth".
This wasn't just something she could let go of.
There were 15 ranks of magic users. Not even those at the 15th rank could freely change their form. She had only known spiritual beings to do something like that.
"FATHER!"
A loud yell made Kite and Obellion turn their attention to the staircase.
Making their way to the second floor, they both ran over to the bathroom where they could hear noise but the door was closed shut.
"Klein! What's going on?! Is it a spirit? Open up I can deal with it!"
Obellion pressed against the door trying to get it open but this was the door she had a 7th-rank formation master carve an [unbreakable] formation into.
"DON'T COME IN!"
Obellion backed up from the door but was confused.
"Klein we're coming in anyway!"
Slightly looking over to the blank Kite, Obellion gave an excited stare expecting to see his "true form" again.
"Oh no! The door is stuck and I need someone strong to take it down!!!"
She gave a fake cry while waiting on Kite to transform.
"I see you need your lord's help. Well my dear do not fear for Kite is here!"
Kite placed his hand on the door much to Obellion's dissatisfaction.
"What are you doing? Aren't you gonna transform!?"
Kite started using overwrite but could feel for some reason altering this door would cause a large drain on his mental strength.
Currently, Kite wasn't even ranked by the system due to his low mana so it was quite fortunate that overwrite consumed mental strength.
'Damn it! What the hell is wrong with this door?!'
'Fuck I can't stop here!'
Slightly looking back over his shoulder he could see the intense stare of the curious Obellion.
'How could I bring such an embarrassment to myself, me? Defeated over a door!'
Kite continued with the overwrite not wanting to tarnish his "reputation" in front of Obellion.
The door slowly shuddered until it changed form into a small wooden beetle that crawled away.
"W-how!"
Obellion's curious glare was warped into a face of shock. She didn't even know what Kite really was but now he was changing objects into living creatures!
She was really expecting him to transform, especially after looking at his stature.
What she believed to be his "false form" was only 5'8 and he was scrawny, but what really took the cake was that she couldn't feel much mana from him.
Obellion would rapidly go from shock to a ride of emotions.
Stepping into the bathroom Kite waited outside.
Klein was wiping some slimy white substance off of his father's fat belly.
His flaccid cock was drained and sticky looking.
"What happened here?!"
"I'm sure a succubus got to him, thankfully he's still alive."
"Or else there is no other way my father would have been able to expel this large amount of seed without a succubus's doing."
Obellion felt a slight annoyance after hearing he was alive but didn't show it.
"Wait..."
Obellion ran out of the bathroom and grabbed Kite by his shirt.
"YOU'RE A SUCC-"
Kite smashed his hand against her lip while pulling her over from the open bathroom door.
"Shut up and no! I'm not ok!"
"I'm tired of you with your false accusations, there is no woman, I am a man! Nor am I a demon of any sort!"
"Hush!"
Obellion lowered her voice before speaking again.
"Last night...you turned into a woman and went upstairs! I was so shocked because I specialize in spirits and undead but I couldn't even sense what you were."
"It's because I'm not one! I won't say that ag-"
"Woah hohoho! Heeyyyy Klein..."
Klein stepped outside the bathroom with a frustrated stare on his pale face.
"It is humiliating to see my father like this..."
"But I can't say he doesn't deserve it. Do excuse my language but my father is scum and trash."
Obellion knew what Klein meant exactly and could only wonder what Klein went through being the son of such a thing.
The Earl had already been through 12 affairs which worsened his already horrible reputation.
He even went as far as to have two children out of the 12 affairs.
Kite's eyes narrowed while staring at Klein, he almost felt bad for him, truly he did but would never admit it.
"I'll bring my father back to his room, please excuse while I do."
Klein raised his hand to his chest while giving a pleading look.
Kite and Obellion made their way back downstairs.
"What! I'm telling you it wasn't me!"
"Kite, you floated through the walls last night."
Obellion facepalmed.
"If you don't want to admit it I'll force you to!"
Obellion's hand emitted a yellow glow which sparkled before enlarging.
The room was like a lightbulb, the light was blinding so Kite was forced to cover his eyes.
After a few seconds, the light died down.
"You flashed me!"
"So...you're really not a spirit or undead. Well at least not an evil spirit/undead anyway."
"Your lord doesn't appreciate this treatment!"
"Appreciate my ass."
"I already do..."
Obellion slightly blushed and wanted to punch Kite but refrained.
"But seriously, how did you turn that door into a bug like that? Also, how did you turn into that tall woman?"
"It's a secret."
Obellion frowned, she had never seen such abilities used before, especially by a human.
"What about working here for me? I can't pay you much now, but once I get some debts off, you'll earn an above-average pay."
"You're in debt? Your lord is disappointed in his second general."
"Second, who would be the first?"
Obellion smiled deciding to entertain Kite's craziness.
"Klein obviously, did you not hear him acknowledge me?! It was an excellent share of loyalty, I must've been his lord in another life also..."
"You're an idiot."
"But the only reason I'm in debt is because of Grog."
"You're in debt to a guy named Grog."
Kite shook his head with a disappointed look again.
"Not just a guy! Grog is an orc and someone you or I can't mess with!"
"You fear another in front of your lord? Let him come and ill slaughter him in front of you."
Kite's hand rested on his face as he gave out a heavy chuckle.
"You're a loser..."
Kite ignored Obellion's insult and stood up from the counter while giving a yawn. "Alright, I'm going to bed."
"Alright, goodnight, don't let the succubus bite!"
'Oh, I'll let them alright...'
Kite made his way to the room furthest from the stairs. Opening the door a large bed with a closet to its right and one mirror on the wall greeted him.
Kite's legs gave out. Sweat dripped from his face while his hands shook rapidly.
'Fuck that was tough!'
His vision started to blur, and a feeling of strain overcame him.
The toll it took to alter the door was heavy, but Kite only gave in once he was away from Obellion.
He hated to show weakness, it was something that he started to hate from his life on Earth.
Slowly crawling to the side of the bed Kite raised his shaky hand but couldn't pull himself up.
His vision faded away as he passed out.
