When the enemies fired the bolts, Kane did his best to spin his spear as fast as he could and block them. From that distance, he thought that he would pull it off, but some of them still hit him… Kane avoided the ones aimed at his head, but some hit his chest and then made him grunt.
The enemies kept going like that for a while, and even though he was still running, things didn't get easier for Kane. In the end, he decided to use Rage and Hard Guard for a moment.
Kane's body hardened and then the bolts stopped piercing his flesh, but he still felt some cuts. With his arms, he protected his head, but now and then, he felt his health dropping. Still, he insisted… until the enemies stopped attacking due to the shock.
The soldiers couldn't see the wounds well, so they couldn't help but feel that way. That gave Kane some relief, he should have leveled up Hard Guard, but he could only do in moments like that.
