After walking for two more hours and fighting a couple of more times against single groups of bees, Kane, Emma, and Jacob found what seemed to be the remains of a campfire. Some smoke was still coming from it, so it was evident that the knights only left a couple of hours ago.
"That is weird… I thought they would move much faster since they are using the wagons," Kane rubbed his chin.
"They probably set up their camp here soon after leaving that village to hunt the giant bees," Emma said. "I thought we would find a lot of bees along the way, but we only found small groups."
Kane nodded. Although it was better to fight fewer enemies more frequently than more enemies less often, things weren't going that well since they were fighting fewer enemies less regularly.
"If they camped here, it means the beehive should be close by," Jacob said. "Considering that the enemies are scarce, I also would bet that the knights exterminated the giant bees."
