In the end, working with Emma and Jacob wasn't so bad. So, Kane wouldn't mind doing that for a while longer. Emma was quite skilled with bows, and Jacob was a fighter who didn't show a single sign of hesitation on the battlefield. So, they would be a great help.
Kane didn't have many qualities that could help him as a monster. His decisiveness was probably the only thing he could really feel proud of it. Still, looking from a different perspective, one could see him as a cold person. That wasn't so bad per se, but it would be a pain in the ass to find people who would be fine working with him.
