The dungeon entrance itself seemed rather straightforward, resembling a mere hole in the ground with a well-constructed stone staircase leading to its first level. However, the real challenge lay not in the dungeon's appearance but in the presence of a small encampment of adventurers stationed around the entrance. There were roughly fifty of them, and it was evident that these individuals possessed a level of skill and power that far exceeded that of typical village soldiers, presenting a significant hurdle for Kane and his group to overcome.

"It looks like that they don't know that two monsters attacked a village nearby," Kane said.

"They will soon know, perhaps we won't have time to wait until midnight to attack them," Eduns said. "That would be different if we had killed all of the villagers."

Eduns couldn't help but imagine that confronting these adventurers would be equally challenging, if not more so, than facing that platoon in the swamp.
