A lone raindrop, the first of the many to come, sailed down through the air. It sparkled like a diamond in the fading sunlight and the flickering torches that lit up around the colosseum's edges.
The time in the arena slowed down as the drop of water approached the ground.
Then, as if hitting a lever, the sky came falling down at the same time the drop crashed and burst against the ground.
Unbelievable amounts of water showered the city in a torrential downpour. Gathering water from a previously cloudless sky was not a problem for Stormcaller when wielded by Ackster.
Rain wasn't the only thing sent by the heavens as bolts of white lightning competed with the water to flood the earth. Even with the dark grey, almost black clouds blotting out the sky, it was brighter than day.
