The moment she entered the throne room, she felt like the sun's glow was bathing her. Every single person in that room and even the cameras around live broadcasting the ceremony, every attention in that room and in the whole nation was on her.
Wearing her luxurious white ball gown accompanied with a long cape resting around her shoulders and back, a blue sash with her family's royal crest, jewels, and medals were pinned, she ambled on the red carpet with her eyes fixed on her father who's currently sitting on the only highest chair in that room—the throne.
"Let all good people rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice!"
She's nervous. She wouldn't lie about that.
It felt like yesterday she was just running around the palace trying to escape as she played such silly games as hide and seek with her ladies-in-waiting and the palace maids as well as the royal guards and now she's facing the whole nation as she's now going to wear the crown.
"Rejoice... and sing!"
The moment she reached the staircase towards her father's throne, she silently gulped, letting herself kneel on a cushion designated for her. Closing her both palms as her fingers intertwined, she closed her eyes as the choir stopped singing.
"We are hereby called today to witness the coronation of our princess, Her Highness Cecilia De Saint-Germain Aldrich, commencing of the crown, anointing her as the Crown Princess of Eshasea."
She felt her hands starting to sweat underneath her lacy white gloves as she kept gulping the nervousness out of her throat as the Archbishop continuous to go on and on with his message for her coronation.
To be honest, she really wanted to end the ceremony all at once but seeing the people's excited and expectant expressions made her take a deep breath and wait painstakingly.
"His Majesty, King Heinrich De Saint-Germain Aldrich designated his successor in continuing the glorious reign of the Kingdom of Eshasea."
She slowly opened her eyes to meet her father's firm gaze.
"We will now commence the conferment of the Crown Princess' crown."
Everything went silent the moment King Heinrich rose from his throne. It felt like, at that moment, the world stopped for her. As he finally went down his throne, walked towards her and stopped, the Archbishop handed him the cushion with the crown on it.
She could see the crown formed from gold frame, mounted with four very large stones with precious cut diamonds in silvery and gold mounts and she could see the gems surrounding it. With its cross on top of the monde, the gold high arches surrounding the scarlet cap along with the fleur-de-lys, cross paty, and band. By the looks of it, she could tell that it'll be heavy on her head.
But not just the crown that might feel heavy on her head.
The king gently removed her silvery diamond tiara and replaced it with one of the crown jewels—the crown intended for her.
As soon as she felt the crown on her head, she did feel its weight.
Not just its weight…
"I am officially proclaim Cecilia De Saint-Germain Aldrich as the Crown Princess of Eshasea."
She's now weighting her fate as the crown princess, the next queen of the nation.
The room, the hall, and even the nation were filled with people's cheers and singing, welcoming her as their crown princess.
"Amen Amen Amen Hallelujah Amen!"
"God save the Crown Princess! Long Live Her Royal Highness! All Hail Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess Cecilia!"
As she looked at the room, she turned her head towards the room's window as she saw the sun glowing from it.
"God save the Crown Princess!"

"Aren't you afraid of staying by my side?"
"No, I am not afraid."
The mafia boss walked towards her as he gently cupped her left cheek. She didn't care if her crown dropped from her head. Her eyes and all of her attention was fixed on the man in front of her. "Even if it's dangerous for you?"
With firm gaze, Cecilia said. "Even if it's dangerous for me."
