A man sat on his throne, in his tower , looking out the window. Looking down on the world, smiling.
"I have finally achieved it, I am at the top of the world." The man started laughing hysterically and did so until a voice interrupted him.
"Y, our company stocks are decreasing rapidly." said a tall women in a monotone voice.
"What??" Y stared and looked at the woman in disbelief "What the fuck happened?"
"Well if you haven't seen but the sun has risen from the west and well buildings are collapsing and the death toll is already in the millions. "
Y thought to himself before responding, he was now both scared and perplexed. How was he going to survive? How was he supposed to keep his wealth even if he did survive? His mind raced with questions and solutions. He wanted answers but he didn't know how to get them.
"I haven't prepared anything for this, so now what."
"Well we could use the bunker that you bought as a joke."
"But that bunker has no supplies and people are too worried about living or dying to be working."
Y decided it would be best to go to one of his safe houses. He had constructed these houses in case he ever got on the bad side of the government.
Well now there was no government anywhere just people, people scrambling to survive the onslaught.
As Y looked at the window he saw a giant wave approaching. "Oh fuck." He took the woman by the arm and ran with her to the stairs. They ran down to the bottom of the stairs within a minute and they jumped into the most reinforced vehicle they had.
Y sped off into the distance watching as his buildings that he worked years to achieve started collapsing one by one. He saw people crushed under rocks, trees and his worse sight yet a mother and daughter crushed together by two buildings.
He thought he was accustomed to the harshness of life but he didn't like seeing so much death and destruction in his path.
He managed to make it to the safe house unscathed however the car was no longer safe to drive. All the reinforcements were eroded over that 20 minute drive. After running into the house Y scanned around to see if there was still a food supply. Thankfully, there was but it would only last them a week at best, if they even survive the week.
The defence system of the house activated, it was now endgame.
