The Anomalocaris cried out as Hendrix severed its bent left eye, and it flew by him and into an ice chunk. Afterward, Hendrix sighed before getting into a defensive stance.
Meanwhile, Priya continued trying to dodge a single Anomalocaris barely while sweating profusely. However, she had many severe injuries. These injuries would have made any regular applicant cry in agony, but she gritted her teeth. Whenever she moved her limbs, she heard sounds like chalk scraping on a chalkboard.
'Dang it, I'm being whooped by this single creature! How will I protect Hendrix if I can't beat one thing!' Priya thought while fuming in her mind.
Priya gazed at Hendrix and realized he already crippled two Anomalocaris, despite two other injured ones still fighting against him.
'Wait, he has many millennia of experience fighting, so this makes sense that he can do this. I need to get used to fighting, and maybe in the future, I can match or surpass him.' Priya thought before being hit by the Anomalocaris again.
After being hit, Priya continued trying to dodge while watching Hendrix fight and see how he crippled them. After two minutes of watching, she saw him cripple the last Anomalocaris and look toward her. However, she was injured even more.
"Priya, do you need my help?" Hendrix asked while watching her dodge.
"No, I don't, Hendrix. I want to learn how to fight on my own!" Priya yelled.
"Alright. I'll watch and intervene if it becomes too difficult for you." Hendrix replied before using his Chixilub as a cane.
Priya nodded and began fighting the uninjured Anomalocaris with Vigor after learning how to cripple them from watching Hendrix's battles.
Once Priya saw the Anomalocaris approach, she dodged to the right while swinging her sword to the left. Consequently, this resulted in her severing the Anomalocaris's right eye while falling to the ground and the creature flying by her.
Hendrix saw this and waited to see if Priya would get up in time.
'I fell! This is embarrassing.' Priya thought before getting up and looking in all directions.
The Anomalocaris wasn't visible nearby. However, that quickly changed as it leaped out of an ice chunk and at Priya from behind.
However, Priya didn't react in time and was hit in the back by the Anomalocaris, but she didn't scream, but she did kneel as the Anomalocaris rebounded and flew back into the same ice chunk.
Meanwhile, Hendrix watched and decided to intervene in the fight after seeing Priya kneel like that. Hence he ran towards her, and once the Anomalocaris leaped out of the ice, he jumped at it and swung his Chixilub at its remaining eye.
Consequently, because of Hendrix's momentum and his swing working together, the Anomalocaris's last eye was decapitated, and it cried out in agony as it flopped onto the ground harmlessly.
"Are you okay, Priya?" Hendrix asked while sheathing his Chixilub.
"Yes, I am. However, next time, can you let me continue to fight?" Priya asked.
"Not if you injured like that. If your back broke, you wouldn't be able to move, no matter how much you wanted to." Hendrix stated while remembering his was broken.
"I understand, Hendrix. However, who's going to kill these?" Priya asked while looking at the five crippled Anomalocaris littering the ground.
"I will kill the four I crippled alone, and you can kill the one I helped you with yourself." Hendrix replied.
"Alright, and how will we kill these?" Priya asked.
"Through trial and error, Priya. We have no choice but to do it this way." Hendrix responded as he walked back to his opponents.
Priya nodded before walking to the one she had fought this whole time and trying to figure out how to kill it.
'Hmm, I need to behead all these Anomalocaris somehow. Perhaps if I swing a rock at their necks, I can sever their heads after enough hits.' Hendrix thought while he grabbed a one-pound jagged rock and started smacking an Anomalocaris's neck repeatedly with its point.
Consequently, the targeted Anomalocaris screeched as it tried to fight back, but it couldn't, resulting in it enduring Hendrix's onslaught.
After taking a twenty-minute break, Hendrix spent about thirty minutes and many small breaks beheading the first Anomalocaris roughly. However, it was still flailing around despite being headless.
"This thing is undead. However, the type of undead is unknown to me." Hendrix surmised while going to another crippled one and starting to hit its neck.
"Well, Hendrix, I finished beheading the one I fought long before you did." Priya stated as the Anomalocaris she fought lay headless and flailing on the ground.
Hendrix nodded before spending one hour and forty-five minutes beheading the other three Anomalocaris. Afterward, he smiled and attempted to pull out an Anomalocaris's brain.
This resulted in it screeching as Hendrix pulled it out, and once it came out, it ceased.

'Ackalon, can I store all these in your dimension for future purposes if they're stored together?' Hendrix thought.
